I recently purchased these bath books for my 16-month-old twins who are deep into the teething phase, and I couldn't be more relieved. Regular books were turning into casualties of their chewing adventures during solo playtime, but these bath books have been an absolute game-changer.The adorable images in these books capture my twins' attention for extended periods. I love watching them sit and explore the pictures, and the fact that they can indulge in a little nibbling without me worrying about paper bits ending up in their mouths is a huge relief.The durability of these bath books is fantastic, and it's clear they are designed with little ones in mind. This was the closest thing to the alphabet books our kids had when they were little - one book for each letter with corresponding pictures and words. The only difference is that these are bath cards instead of books, but, knowing the parents are die-hard "baths every single night" folks, we thought "Water-friendly is a bonus". Therefore we bought these for their daughter (one of our nieces) we had for the family Christmas children gift-giving. When the mother took a couple of the cards out of the bag and rubbed them back and forth between her fingers, the seams separated, and she said "Oh, look!" and held the cheap cards up as others looked on. We were SO EMBARRASSED! I muttered, "That shouldn't have happened." She asked how it could be fixed, but I didn't have a feasible response to that. Then she asked where we bought it, and I told her it was on Amazon. Luckily, the other gifts we bought for the child (in stores) were great, but this was supposed to be the main gift, and I felt awful about it. Now, I need to get something else for this niece to make up for this - what a shame!
