Size & Weight I purchased the 4 inch Lucid topper for my 14 inch King Size mattress. It fits well to all 4 corners. The topper is kind of heavy but not impossible to move. According to the box, it weighs 26.85lbs. It will feel heavier because the object is large and the weight is spread over several square inches. To move it, Grip the topper firmly, but with care and you shouldn't get tears or any other issues. Authenticity First, be sure you are buying an Authentic Product from LUCID. It should come in a box marked with the company's name on it, see the images. Likely, some reviews could be showing a blue topper that looks similar to the Lucid Product but it may be a knock off. I've seen some that are light blue like Lucid's, but it isn't the same. It has a knock off name. According to the box, mine was manufactured in Vietnam and came with a booklet and a free mail/envelope opener. ( Should you buy, yours may be manufactured else where ) Packaging & Expansion. The images you see were taken 1 minute after I opening the vacuum bag. I should have taken an image of it in the bag. It was vacuumed down to about 1 inch of uniform thickness. The topper expanded rapidly after opening and it took about 1 minute to fully expand. Again this is a genuine Lucid product. I see of some reporting it taking days or several hours to expand and even having to place it in a higher temp environment for this to occur. My A/C was set at 72dgs and the room temp was the same. Still, it expanded in 1 minute, which is nearly instant. Smell The topper does have a light smell similar to new carpet but it isnt over powering and honestly, after about an hour or so after opening it, I could no longer detect the smell. Feel I chose the 4 inch because I like that " sink in your bed" feel, which can be great for reducing back and neck pain. The 4 inch is super plush. Because the 4 inch is the thickest and softest, you will sink the most. Some will like this and some won't. Some will mention they don't like crawling out of a hole in the bed...honestly I wouldn't want that either so for the best results, I added a plush pillow top sheet cover to mine. This keeps the soft sink feel but allows you to have no trouble getting out of the bed and I couldnt ask for a better combo. IT MADE MY CHEAP 14inch WALMART MATTRESS FEEL LIKE THE SIMMONS BEAUTY REST HOSPITALITY BEDS IN PREMIUM HOTELS! Both of these are breathable and cool so no night sweats! ( this may vary as no two people are the same ) Also if you sleep with a partner, movement on one side of the bed with this topper won't disturb! Final Recommendations I do not recommend buying this topper for completely worn out matresses, or Stomach sleepers unless you have full size body pillows. But if you sleep on your back or sides and you don't want any back pain and you love the sink in feel, then this is your topper. Also be sure to identify your comfort needs BEFORE you buy.

Absolutely totally impressed by Lucid’s customer service team!! Over the last 10 years or so, I have purchased 3, 4” toppers for my bed and 2 or 3 other mattress toppers (3” I believe)for other family members beds in my home. We have good mattresses, but the best way I have found to make them last COMFORTABLY longer is to put a memory foam mattress topper on them - As well as the fact that there is nothing better for a GREAT NIGHTS SLEEP than crawling and then up into a soft, comfy “feeling like you are sleeping on 12” of goose down comforters “ bed. Lucids’s 4” memory foam mattress does just that- makes your bed feel soft and warm and comfy a just as if you were sleeping on 12” of Goose down comforters! (Saying it’s like sleeping on a soft billowy cloud would be inaccurate- you’d fall through a soft billowy cloud & hit the ground like a brick. THAT doesn’t sound comfortable in the least!! 😂😂) So, if you like sleeping on a soft bed, the 4” is perfect!! So why is Lucid’s customer service so amazing? Well, just like every single other product in the world, occasionally one of those products will be defective or something just not right with it. It happens. No matter how great & amazing a company is, it’s pure naivety to believe that they will never ever have some sort of problem with one of the hundreds of thousands of individual products they sell. I don’t mean that every single one of a product they sell will have a problem, I am saying that 1 of the hundred thousands of one specific item will come off the factory floor as defective. In the situation I am referring to, that one item out of hundreds of thousands, happened to be the most recent of 3 of the 4” toppers I have purchased from Lucid. Building a great reputation for selling great products in various shapes and sizes is one thing. How your customer service department handles a situation when a customer contacts them saying that they are having problems with one of their products because that item is defective - THAT is how a company KEEPS their well earned great reputation. In full disclosure, I did have to contact them twice, but I honestly think that the first time I either put in the wrong reply email or the message portal on their website was not working properly- which honestly, with 99% of message portals and there being people writing about various things- compliments, curiosity and complaints as well as on occasion (yes it happens) competitors spamming message portals in an attempt to bog down customer service in order to make the department look ineffective, I personally think it’s better to just use the company’s customer service/information email, making sure that you write a brief description of your reason for contacting them IN ALL CAPS SO THAT THEY SEE IT PLAIN AS DAY! (Just a little advice from someone who has purchased far too many products online lol I am getting better at not doing that 😂😂 Anyways, customer service was amazing and went above and beyond. I emailed them explaining the problem, they wrote back requesting a couple pictures so they could see what I was explaining and to pass on those pictures to product quality control and then a reply stating that they had shipped me a replacement at zero cost to me. All within 3 days! Honestly, if I had sent pictures with my first email , it most likely would’ve been taken care of in one day, so the extra two days are on me! Thank you Lucid!! You have gained a loyal customer 😊

I’ve been using the topper for about a month now. I purchased this topper because my Euro plush pillow top mattress is nearing the end of it’s lifespan and I’d been waking up each morning with severe aches and pains. I prefer a softer, conforming mattress which is why I choose this topper. I am primarily a stomach sleeper and I occasionally sleep on my sides. Here are my observations in relation to this topper: 1. The first couple of weeks the topper was comfortable and provided a restful night’s sleep if I slept on my back. By week 3, I started noticing that the foam was not retaining it’s original shape and I was feeling even less support in my lower back and hip region, along with my neck and upper back area. 2. The foam doesn’t distribute your weight evenly, my hips sink too deeply which makes this topper unsuitable for stomach or side sleepers. I have to add in pillows to balance out my posture and take the pressure off of my lower back. 3. The topper is not super soft/plush, it’s more so in the firmer side but with the added support. All in all, I am still waking up with back and neck pain after purchasing this topper.

Wonderfull Product, I was afraid of heat, but it is not like that. . Once you fall into this , you wont feel of getting up !! Nice sleep for sure !! But Suitable for AIRCONDITIONed ROOM. . .Worth for Money. .

We bought this topper back in November 2020, so this is a true long-term review — not something written after a week of testing. This thing has been on our bed for five full years, and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without it now. It’s one of those things where you don’t realize how much it helps until you sleep somewhere else. Even my sister, who stayed over once while we were away, immediately commented on how comfortable the bed was — and the topper is 100% the reason why. When we first opened it Like all memory foam toppers, it needs time to expand. In our case, a few areas weren’t rising properly. The instructions mentioned that a little heat can help, so we used a hairdryer on the low setting to warm up the stubborn spots — and it worked perfectly. After that, it settled evenly. Comfort & Support (the part that really matters) Our mattress underneath is very firm. Too firm. Adding this topper was like transforming the entire bed into a soft, plush cloud without losing support. We’re two adults, both on the heavier side, and I was honestly a bit worried about long-term sagging… but it never happened. Even after five years of daily use, it still keeps its shape, still feels plush, and still gives great support. No dips, no flattened areas — nothing. Back pain improvement (the unexpected bonus) Before this topper, both of us would wake up stiff or sore, especially in the lower back. That annoying “ugh, my back” feeling every morning. Once we added this topper, that stopped. Completely. We didn’t even realize it at first, but one day we noticed we hadn’t woken up with that tightness in a long time. The extra cushioning plus the support combo made that big of a difference. And we notice it when we on vacation, at least it gives us that one reason for being happy to go back home and sleep in our own bed. Durability This topper even survived a full house move. We actually had to roll it back up, load it in a truck, and let it unroll again in the new house… and it still went right back to its original shape. That alone surprised me because memory foam is usually dramatic and holds a grudge. Not this one — it bounced back like nothing ever happened. Thickness matters The 4-inch version is amazing. It was the perfect thickness for us. If you like that plush, “sink-in-but-still-supported” feel, this is the sweet spot. A small but important warning if you have pets The little ventilation holes in the foam are normal — they’re part of the design. BUT. If you have cats, do not let them walk or scratch directly on it while your sheets are off. It’s foam. Their claws will win. 😅 Just keep a mattress protector on top (which I highly recommend anyway), and it stays in perfect condition. In conclusion Five years later, this topper is still going strong. It truly changed the way we sleep, it made a too-firm mattress feel luxurious, and the durability impressed me way more than I expected. If I ever need to replace it, I wouldn’t hesitate — I’d buy the exact same one again.

UPDATE: I contacted Lucid to ask how to help this topper expand a representative said it could take 48 hours to 3 weeks and works faster in a warm room, so, crank the heat. He also suggested to put it on the floor and walk over every inch of it to release the compacted air bubbles. We have in-floor heating so I dragged it onto the floor and did as he suggested. By the next morning, it was 90% inflated so I walked on the parts that were still squished. Several hours later it was fully filled out - yahoo! I just put it on the bed and so far it’s very soft and comfortable! So, between waiting and walking on this topper, it took 4 days to be able to use it. Previous review: Waiting for this thing to expand is the longest I’ve ever waited for any foam topper. The first picture is after 24 hours and the second is after 48hrs. It’s a king but is laid over a queen bed, presently. It looks really small. I’m hoping it takes shape very soon because this is ridiculous. I’ll update my review to accurately reflect its function if it ever expands fully to use. For now, I find this wait-time frustrating.

Esta colchoneta de Memory foam me llegó hace ya varios días llegó muy bien empacado llegó antes de tiempo pero si se tiene que dejar respirar por lo menos 2 días porque La primer noche se sentía muy extraño y los dos primeros días amanecí adolorida pero ya después me acostumbré Y la verdad es que es muy cómoda a mí me hubiera gustado que fuera un poco más suave porque yo la compré para ponerla sobre un colchón que es muy firme y me lastimaba los hombros y la cadera ahora esos dolores han desaparecido sólo me queda un poco el del cuello Pero me imagino que es un tema de Almohada y conforme han ido pasando los días se ha vuelto cada vez más firme que si tuviera un poquito más de suavidad sería aún más cómodo no genera calor a pesar de ser sintético es un buen producto y totalmente recomendable lo que sí hay que tomar en cuenta es que si lo pones encima de un colchón se vuelve enorme de alto y se ve rarísimo porque todo le queda corto

Es un buen producto. Me gustó la calidad. Funciona bastante bien. Te permite un buen descanso. Solo necesitan tener un colchón firme porque al ser de 10 cm de ancho se llega a hundir bastante con el peso. Si tienes un control firme está bien, pero si chocolchón ya perdió la firmeza considera comprar uno de menos grosor
