Outstanding Purchase, luxury treat!
Very HAPPY! I researched these types of portable saunas and ordered this reasonably priced FAR infrared type. Pros: high quality appearance - better than expected, more like great looking camping gear; wouldn't mind leaving it up in my guest room. Like the double sided insulated walls - the exterior does not get hot to the touch, which is nice when you have your cell or anything else in the exterior pocket. Good design with the hand zip holes and neck collar, keeps heat in well. Love the fact that the head stays out while getting the benefits of the sauna. Four inside heating panels are large, 26"x11" which cover from about ankle to neck when sitting in there. Also the panels are covered with a mesh type lining. SUPER easy set up, literally one minute. Simply "pop" up into place, no assembly - internal frame is pre-installed. Heats up quickly, could feel the heat within a minute. Relaxing for sure; could lean head back in the slouch type chair and even use a small pillow if wanted. Chair is strong and sturdy, though takes up the majority of the room inside. I draped a towel over the chair seat and arms to catch sweat and avoid wipe down each time. Cons: I'm 5'5 with long legs, and sit very comfortably in there. But a very tall or especially long legged person might be cramped. The front of the 'tent' could be more firmly structure to feel like there's more leg room. Not a big issue. I also checked the EMF with my meter. Recorded 3.5mG inside. Saw a review that stated super high reading, so bought an EMF tester. EF is a lot different than MF; EF will be high as all electrical items emit energy. MF as I understand is the important reading for health. I'll post an update after I become better familiar with the readings. OVERALL, very satisfied and would purchase this again, will likely gift at Christmas.

Solid, functional unit. ChatGPT's selection!
I actually assigned ChatGPT to identify the best dry sauna, and this was its pick. This one can get up to 150 degrees F. It has an automatic timer/shut off, so safe. I can watch TV while in the unit. It is silent. The little hand zip slots are handy for accessing a phone, remote control, and device control - without letting all the hot air out. I do not sweat right away - I assume my sweat evaporates, and fills the air inside the unit, and I sweat once the vapor pressure is too high. The device set up easily. It is solid, with strong zippers and heat-retaining walls. If you lean back too much your back will hit a heating element -not causing a burn, but pretty hot.

Amazed but see edit...
OK so I did a lot of research on these and read a lot of reviews. I know a lot of people are concerned with EMF levels and while this one claims to be low, I honestly didn't test it. After much research I found that our phones and Wifi and electronic devices are emitting these around us nearly all the time, so if you are truly sensitive, then you need to get rid of wifi and your cell phone and bluetooth, etc. Anyway, I decided to go with the bigger one as it had better reviews, and having more room on the inside to be further from the heating elements seemed like a good idea. I'm about 5'9, and I fit quite nicely inside. This larger one is about 100 dollars more, but so far I think it is worth it. The chair provided is quite large and comfy, and made of a canvas that is easy to rinse, though I recommend putting a towel on it anyway to keep it more dry and lower the amount of cleaning time. I also put a towel down on the floor, careful to avoid covering the foot heating pad. The first use I was skeptical because it took nearly 25 minutes to start getting hot, but I emailed the company and they got back to me quickly, stating that this is normal and subsequent usage will heat more quickly. Boy were they right. The second time I used it, it was very hot after 5 to 10 minutes. Once inside I actually had to turn it down a bit! Reading reviews led me to put a towel around my neck and this does keep in the heat that can escape from the neck collar. Some more tips from my own experience: When I was going to the IR sauna at the spa, I used a hot cream, which increases how much I sweat by a LOT. There are some good ones here on Amazon that aren't very expensive (compared to sweet sweat). I use https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01J8RBRSY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 and like it very much. Also if you get a clear trash bag, cut a hole in the top and put it over your head, voila! Homemade, cheap sweat suit. I sweat so much that there was literally a puddle on the floor. Looked like a dumped a water bottle down there! Overall, I definitely recommend this product. Even with sales and deals, I was paying 11 to 15 dollars per session at the spa, plus all the driving time and everything. PLus now that I own it, I can use it multiple times a week. This folds up quickly and easily so you can store it away and I put it together and put it away alone, it isn't heavy at all. I'm excited to see the health and weight loss benefits! :) Just want to make sure ppl understand this is NOT an infared sauna. *EDIT* I took this down to 4 stars because after about a year of use the chair that came with it is completely falling apart and I am afraid to use it, because if it breaks while I am in the sauna, I will get hurt. And when I called the company that sells them for Amazon, FamilyPoolFun, the customer service was HORRIBLE!! The lady on the phone was downright rude. I was trying to explain to her about the chair and she was literally yelling at me about how they only sell them and don't manufacture them so she had nothing to do with how the chair was made. When she finally finished, I asked how I could get a replacement and she told me to submit a request on their website and then hung up on me. I will certainly not be buying anything from them again!

What a great addition to my health modalities. Gets you sweating in about 20 minutes. Perfect. No more driving/cycling to a sauna place. Easy, peasy. Oh and the foot warmer pad is an extra bonus! They thought of everything.

Set it for 150 Fahrenheit (65.5 Celsius) for 30 minutes. Room temperature was 79F(26C). After 10 minutes 95F(35C), after 15 minutes 102F(39C), after 20 minutes 109F(43C), after 25 minutes same 109F(43C), after 30 minutes 115F(46C)............ Another time, I didn't go inside, measured 124F(51C) after 30 minutes. (I covered the head part/opening) On avearge, I was able to attain 115F(46C) ..I used Acu>rite device to measure As for EMF(Electromagnetic Field). My device is TENMARS model TM-190 They say that under 3 milligauss(mg) is safe exposure(?) The meter was put against the panels Right side 50 milligauss (mg) Left side 125-130 mg Back 75-115mg The meter measured about 7mg center(chest area) I took measurements from seat Right side seat 14.5 mg Left side seat 16-17 mg Back side seat 8.4 mg For comparison, my microwave oven read 150mg (meter pressed against). It read about 4mg, 10 feet away As for off gassing, there is a smell..Whether its toxic or not, I don't know.... I will still use this sauna.... Remember, remove(shower) makeup/ deodorant before using sauna Will update in future (todays date May 29, 2017) and answer questions >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Updating my previous post from May 29, 2017 Todays date is Feb 1, 2018 It does make you sweat, 100%...I've been using it.. My concerns have always been about the EMF's being too high and possible off gassing.. I will be getting rid of my sauna. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also posted this review on Amazon.com Updating my previous post from Feb 1 2018 Today's date is May 12, 2019 I originally purchased this item on May 19, 2017 on Amazon.ca My first original review was done on May 29, 2017 regarding this product So, its been about 2 years now (May 2019). However, I've decided to copy/paste my review from Amazon.ca to .com with an update(last update) I'm very surprised how this still gets 5 stars in 2019.. As of today, there is about 79 reviews regarding this product. When I purchased my sauna, there was only 1 review, dated May 15 2017.... I will keep this simple... The sauna's EMF's are too high and the odor of chemical(plastic smell) is not safe when heated..The gassing, you are breathing in... As of December 2018, I've gone to my new Infared Sauna which is nearly 0 EMF and no chemicals..Also, I've gone to Red Light Therapy(LED)...These saunas are available in Canada and United States. You will pay anywhere from $2000 to $3000USD for a 1 person sauna, maybe 2 .. As for the Red Light, shop around, you can easily get ripped off and pay nearly double the price
