I am thrilled, grateful & amazed with this source compilation of First Metis Families of Quebec Vol. 5 by Gail Morin ! I have been researching my mother's Jean Durand dit Lafortune & Catherine Anenontha (a Huron) family line for years. It was slow going process as dates, names varied in different sources & trying to translate Drouin records without French language skills was daunting. Plus, I was unsure if my research was accurate. Gail Morin's source compilation along with other resources translated into English and DNA have enabled me to confirm my family genealogy research & expand our family tree. I highly recommend this compilation!
