Feels so good on my skin
The media could not be loaded. I will preface this with the fact that my skin is really dry, but i love the way this made my skin feel. I feel like it rejuvenated my skin almost instantly, even on my first use I feel like it gave me an instant boost. The texture is good as well, I love the feeling so I am excited to keep using this.

Would Be Absolute Perfection, If Not For The Surprise, Out-of-Place PHA Exfoliant
(Ingredients list is at the bottom of this review.)Exfoliating serums and other exfoliating products are a dime a dozen. They're everywhere. But it's really hard to find a healing, restoring, hydrating skincare product with a simple, sensible ingredients list that is actually good for sensitive skin. That's what I thought I had found here, and I was so excited about the possibility of this serum helping my dry, sensitive skin to be healthier and more resilient.I was really expecting to love the Dermal Elixir Hydra Vitamin B5 Serum (40ml). That is, until I found out that it had a surprise PHA exfoliant (gluconolactone) in it. I have quite sensitive skin. This product was marketed as a simple healing (B5/Panthenol) hydrating (Hyaluronic Acid) serum for sensitive skin. So that's what I was expecting to get. It's unfortunate that they turned it into an exfoliating serum on the sly. My skin didn't fair well. This serum is a nice one overall. It has a somewhat viscous texture, which becomes very watery and hydrating when applied to the skin. The texture looks and feels like it will hydrate well. It glides onto the skin smoothly, and soaks in nicely. The serum doesn't appear to have any detectable scent. The packaging is an amber glass bottle with a glass pipette dropper. Most serums are 30ml, but this serum is 40ml. I find it to be a good value for money at the current price of $20.Upon using this serum, my skin was in fairly good condition. But afterward, my skin barrier was damaged to some degree. It might have been worse, if I hadn't felt the symptoms of irritation, and washed my face after an hour or so. I was so hoping to have found a real gem for my dry, sensitive skin, and I imagine it would be perfect for me without the PHA exfoliant. Unfortunately, I don't think I can continue using this serum. On a positive note, my skin did feel quite smooth, and that's always nice. Unfortunately, I can't handle most exfoliants or any kind of frequent exfoliation.Overall, this is a nice serum with nice ingredients. However, the formulation did clearly go off-task a bit, considering the serums stated intended purpose. If you know that you can handle the ingredients, I'd recommend trying this serum. I do wish that I could continue using it.INGREDIENTS:Aqua (Water), Propanediol, Panthenol, Gluconolactone, Sodium Hyaluronate, Algin, Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium, Sodium Benzoate, Arginine, Calcium Gluconate.

Not for me
This serum is slimier than most. The product pools at the top of the bottle and it says to use a full dropper but it only fills half way (more than plenty). I don’t think I’ll be adding this one to my routine.

Arrived slightly leaking
Maybe the cap wasn't screwed on very tight before packaging, but this arrived in a slightly moist package, and admittedly: its not got the best smell.I don't know if that's because it had been open for a while and just started to go bad (though that sounds dumb even as I type it) - but its odd to read about others claiming it smells nice when our package clearly doesn't.The oil itself is a nice thin consistency and we liked that it has a dropper style applicator, but we have had to keep it away from our faces as the smell just isn't one I want hanging around that close to my nose.

Very moisturizing
I have dry skin and I love how hydrating this serum is. It's a bit heavier but it smoothes on very easily. I apply it after toner and before my moisturizer. It has a mild pleasant scent, is non-irritating and makes my skin feel softer.

A little strong for me, personally
I've tested dozens of skin care products in the past few months, hoping to find a remedy for an often dry and itchy skin. Unfortunately a lot of serums, especially those with hyaluronic acid or nicotinamide, only seem to exacerbate the problem. Personally I'm finding this and many others to be just a little harsh. That's not to say it's a bad product, I've responded well to serums in the past. But for the time being I've put this one on the shelf to test again down the low.Low fragrance, cooling, definitely immediately hydrated as you would expect.

It helped me with dry spots on my face
The media could not be loaded. I used this product for dry spots on my face and it really works, it makes my face smooth and soft, The dry spots disappeared within 3 days applying it in the morning and night times, so it accomplished it's purpose and it didn't make my face greasy, I'm happy with it and i recommend it.

Hydrating
The serum had a watery consistency and had a harsh medicinal scent. It was pretty strong but, was faded away during application. The serum smoothed in easily and left a bit of a cooling feeling that lasted for a few minutes. My skin felt moisturized but, I still had to follow up with lotion.
