Bought this for my aquarium and it works great. It is easy to move around once suctioned in the tank which is good and also annoying. Still, great for the price and works fine.

I had to turn it on and off a few times before it started to work accurately. It was also on in the shipping box. It was reading crazy temps at first but now it is working well. I also put it too close to the aquarium lights at first and it was reading super high, but I moved it to the middle of the tank and it now seems accurate. I did leave it in the tank for about an hour before it really got to an accurate reading. I reallyLike it now that it is working properly as the suction cups stay mounted and the numbers are very legible. If you want to switch it from tank to tank, I recommend turning it off then turning it back on when it’s in the new tank so that it reads accurately within thirty seconds rather than taking a while to adjust. My only concern is that people said it has stopped working after a few months. I’ve only had it in for like three days so we will see what happens.

I use this inside my reptile enclosure and it does a great job monitoring temperature it is accurate and precise.

Sometimes simpler is better.

It seemed to be working when I tested it a few times, but after I set it up in my aquarium it perpetually read much lower than my set temperature on my heater. It led me to believe that my heater was malfunctioning, so I turned my heater way up to 90 degrees F and the aquaneat would actually read even lower, saying it 69.4 degrees F! Even though I could actually feel the heat radiating from the tank. This thing is actual garbage.

Used this to make sure my aquarium heaters were calibrated correctly, seems pretty spot on!

THe first one i got never kept the correct temp, but they replaced it quickly. Nice customer service, my second one works great.
