Perfect for warm temperatures, as well as pet owners. The stitches may get pulled- but so far have been saved.
I live in Arizona, and am severely outnumbered by animals and have a husband. All of these factors made me decide that I need to invest in something other than the clearance $30 bedding in a bag, in which the comforter ends up looking sadder than me when I have run out of chocolate on a bad day after a few washes. With this in mind, I learned from friends and family to go for cotton, and 'quilts'. I found this particular quilt in my search for updating my bedding to something that would be light weight for summer as well as wash well with all of the fluff and stuff critters tend to leave behind. I am beyond thrilled. It is a lightweight quilt- exactly what I want for the summer in AZ. It breathes well. The hand stitching is both amazing but then concerning to me as a pet owner. Claws will pull the stitches. I will testify, however, so far the casualties have been repairable by pulling the fabric taught and helping the thread find it's place again. For this price you will not be able to find anything near comparable in quality or craftsmanship. Knowing that an artisan benefited from my purchase here also will keep me buying these instead of generic bulk bedding.
