Unusable
I'm actually in awe of how poorly this arrived. It was rolled with no support inside, completely flattened & shoved into a soft envelope to ensure the folds would crease forever. After rolling it out this thing looked like an accordion with DEEP creases every couple of inches which made unusable even for a single 7" motorcycle headlight because there wasn't 7 continuous inches that wasn't ruined by a permanent crease. Thought maybe heating it up to stretch a little would help but after 2 attempts there's just no way to get the creases not to visibly show on the headlight because it won't adhere flat & leaves a line of air you just can't get out. Total waste of time & money. This is a no-brainer and seller should know better, especially after hearing about these issues in the past. Choose another seller that handles their product more responsibly.*Pics are after rolling it flat & applying heat with a heat gun for several minutes & failing to remove creases.

Excellent.
Great product. There is definitely a learning curve so buy more than you will need. I applied this to my tail lights. By the time I was done with the first application I had a much better feel for the process. I will remove it and reapply. My tail lights are quite difficult to cover because they run up the whole back of my car so I need to cut the tint in order to turn a corner. Once I learned exactly where I should make the cut it was so much easier.I saw a lot of people complaining about how it was shipped. The seller listened and fixed the issue. The packaging was great. They put a styrofoam stick in the center and held it closed with a zip tie. See attached photo.A tip *** Use lots of soapy water. Lots and lots. And continue to spray it on throughout the application process. Clean the headlights so there is no dirt or residue. Then spray the whole head or tail light with the soapy water. Peel the film off the tint and spray the tint with the soapy water (There is film on both sides of the tint. Make sure you peel the film off the sticky side and spray). (Keep the top layer of film in tact for now as it will protect the tint from getting scratched as you are manipulating and stretching it) Place the film in place with your hand and rub and stretch it with your hand so you remove most of the bubbles. Next, use your tool (credit card w/ cloth wrapped around it or something similar) to further remove any bubbles. If you find you need to lift and adjust the tint go ahead and do so but make sure to respray the light and tint. Now cut the film so it is the right shape and size. Now with the tint the right size you should be able to push all the bubbles out from under the tint. Before you move on to the next step, try to get the tint as near to perfect as possible. Once you apply the heat it becomes more difficult to push any water out from underneath the tint. Next, grab your heat gun, turn it on a low setting and hold about 8 - 12 inches from the surface of the light. You will see the vinyl start to adhere like shrink wrap around the light. Don't over heat or the tint will bubble up or become dis-formed when you are stretching it.. Lightly continue to press the bubbles out with your tool. You will get a feel for when you should remove the heat. And continue to remove the bubbles and applying heat as needed. Once you are satisfied you have removed all the bubbles, remove the top layer of film from the tint. You're all done. Again, this takes practice so be prepared to have to apply more than once until you get it right.I will update with more pictures once I get it perfect.

Cheap but effective for my application.
I have several Ring flood lights around the house and in particular I have one over the back patio door which stays on all night long. During the summer it creates quite a problem with bugs being attracted to the bright led lights. Ring does not make a cover or an adapter to turn the lights into "bug lights", so I figured why not buy the cheapest yellow self adhesive tint I can find on Amazon and see if it works. As like some other reviewers have posted if you are using led lights you want to double up on the layers of film, otherwise I'd say this did the job I wanted it to and has cut down on the amount of bugs I get on my patio by half. The file is a little hard to get off of the back of the protective backing, otherwise not bad.

Used for bowfishing, worked great
Used this to cover the lights on my bowfishing boat. They cut down the fog reflection that would usually make things very hard between 12 and 2am, and made it easier to see in cloudy, wavy water. Would highly recommend. Stays on tight and will not come off for years to come by the looks of it.

Works Well
Works well. I'm no professional tinter or anything so I don't know how it compares to competing products. I bought it to tone down some LED video lights. For this purpose, it works great. Another reviewer said it's hard to tell which side is the adhesive one. I'm not sure what s/he was thinking. It's really obvious. One side has a clear backing that needs to be peeled off, the other doesn't. Wasn't a fan of the packaging, just came in some bulk, non-retail plastic sleeve.Would buy again if I ever need some yellow tint.***My Rating Criteria***Build Quality(47.5%) - 5.0 StarsEfficacy(47.5%) - 5.0 StarsPost-Sale Support(0.0%) - n/aPackaging/Presentation(5.0%) - 1.5 StarsWeighted Average(100.0%) - 4.8 Stars

Cheap, but extremely difficult and unforgiving to use
The tint came packaged in a roll and had various creases and bumps. Fortunately, a protecting film is installed over the face of the tint. A heat gun easily unrolled the tint and got rid of any creases and bumps. The most frustrating part is during installation. You need to lay it down PERFECTLY the first time, because if you attempt to peel back and reapply (like with vinyl), the tint will be ruined as the adhesion is so strong that parts of the tape are left on the surface. Thus, you have to rinse the surface and prepare new tint for the same spot. Further, air bubbles are a nightmare to remove because of this problem. The installation surface was also mostly flat with a very very slight angle.I recommend you to buy quality tint that doesn't have this issue.

Can be used on under cabinet light strips
I am using this to try to warm up very blue under cabinet LED light strips. The film sticks well. It does make the light look very yellow, but I can't seem to find any film that is a lighter yellow or amber color. But it is still better than those horrible "daylight" strips.
