Works as advertised with a Late 2016 13" MacBook Pro w/ Touch Bar
So far so good. The space grey finish matches Apples on the new MacBooks.Tested on a Late 2016 13 inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar.Pass through charging works. All 3 USB 3.0 ports work.HDMI works with 4K output.SD reader works.Ethernet works - did not test speed of connection.Had 2 external USB-A 3.0 hard drives, an SD card, an eithernet connection, and a 4K monitor connected simultaneously without any issue. Not tested: micro SD slot.4 stars for the following reasons:This thing heats up. It stays hot. If you plug devices into the dongle, even if it's not plugged in to the MacBook, it heats up. This is regardless of passing through power to your laptop or not. Makes me wonder if this thing is potentially a fire hazard and how long will it last. Also, the white plastic ends, where the USB-C charging in/Ethernet is located on one end and the USB-C out is on the other, look cheap. Moreover, the USB-C out is a fixed cable. Would have been nice if this cable could be replaced, so that a longer cable could be attached or a bad cable replaced. With this cable being fixed, it again makes me wonder how long this device will last.It will not charge the MacBook Pro and an iPad at the same time.Lastly, if you bump the dongle, or grab it to plug something new, you'll most likely cause everything to disconnect until you get used to carefully, and gently, adding or removing devices. It's not so bad when you're aware it doesn't like being handled when in use. However, for the price, it shouldn't be so touchy. As long as it lasts (if it dies, I'll update my post.), I'd recommend this to anyone with a 12 inch MacBook or one of the Late 2016 MacBook Pros.P.S. I'm not having the issue where removing or adding USB-A devices causes the HDMI to blackout. I'm not having any connectivity issues whatsoever on my 2016 MacBook Pro w/ Touch Bar, aside from the whole dongle being a little touchy. But, now that I'm carful when adding or removing devices from the dongle, I've not had a single unwanted disconnect.

Just what I needed for my new MacBook Pro, works well but there are a few things to know.
Purchased for new late '16 MB Pro, which I have had for 2 days. So far, I am pleased... a couple of things to be aware of. The plug needs to be firmly connected to the computer which is not always the case. Hear the click and check for a solid blue light on the unit. Occasionally the computer won't recognize a USB drive, but that would happen on my previous MB Pro when the drive was connected directly, so no big deal. USB 3 external drive power & throughput seem just fine. The unit can get warm, especially if the external device is working hard or w/multiple devices. I had trouble getting the computer to see an ethernet connection upon several instances of plugging it in, however then it just started working and tests at the full speed of my ISP which is very fast. Look for the green indicator in Network Preferences next to USB LAN 100.1000... I turned my wifi off before I connecting network cable but not sure if that is required. I have not tested HDMI or SD cards yet, will edit this when I do. I am worried about the short fixed USB C cord on the unit. The angle can be awkward, especially when storing it in a backpack, etc, I am afraid it will break and be the weak link. Might have been better if it was a USB C connector with a short cord.

One Dongle to rule them all, One Dongle to find them, One Dongle to replace them all and in USB-C bind them.
This looks like the one: 3 USB-A 3.0 ports (not 3.1--no big deal), 2 photo card slots, network port, HDMI port, usb-C power in. So, this replaces all of the dongles I was carrying. I still have some micro usb-c (male) to usb-a (male) as a catchall--but that requires that I have lots of various usb-a dongles. Now, pretty much everything works on one not overly large dongle. The only thing it doesn't cover is iPhone lightning but that is not cross-platform and this device tries to be cross-platform. Since most lightning cables are still to usb-A, you could just bring along one of those. I did get a lighting to usb-c cable, but it's not strictly necessary.I am using this with a MacBook Pro 13" with touchbar. I haven't tried everything yet, but here's what works so far:- usb-a for data and power,- usb-c power input (I haven't tried to see if is also output, but on a 4 port laptop that's not needed),- SD card for photos.I'll try hdmi out and the LAN port and report back. I don't see why this wouldn't work. I haven't tried to see how many usb-a devices can be powered with the usb-c power input to the dongle. That is not important to me or especially realistic (it might matter to you). What I like is that I don't need to carry lots of Apple (stupid, dumb, arrogant a-hole) usb-c dongles nor most of my old usb-a dongles. Goodness.Apple handled the transition to usb-c in their typical detached, thoughtless arrogant way. In the end, this will be a good move. There will no longer be proprietary power adapters. We were already there for lower power devices. Now, we'll be all the way there. You'll have one power brick and all of your other devices will eventually be usb-c. That IS an improvement. It would have been nicer if Apple included one or two old usb-A ports along with 2 or 3 new usb-c ports. We'll all get over it. This Juiced Systems BizHUB looks like all I'll need to get over it. Within less than a year, I might not even need this. For now, it is great.

Nice look and Work well
Used with a macbook pro.So far I tested the ethernet and the USB 3. Those work very good and right away, no need to install anything.I recommend it.Over all it is a nice product, well finish metal, compact. And it works well.No need to install something, driver or app for Mac OSMy only complains (making only 4 stars):-No LED to monitor the ethernet activities. There are only 1 blue LED showing that it is connected-To improve the the hub, the cable should be removable. It would be easier to pack it in the bag or pocket. Also it will prevent from damage on the cable connection-Easy to leave fingerprint (here, I am picky)

UPDATE: HDMI Doesn't work with M1 MBP
UPDATE: HDMI doesn't work with M1 Macbook Pro. USB ports and SD card reader work. Can't find any update info from company site.ORIGINAL: Does everything as advertised. Feels pretty solid, though it does get a little warm. This one dongle will take care of my needs as the world transitions to USB-C. I needed HDMI for connecting to my TV, USB for wireless mouse and keyboard receiver, and SD card reader for my DSLR. This ticked all the boxes, had other good reviews and looks good. I don't think anyone's a fan of #donglelife, but this is there when I need it.

BUYER BEWARE
Absolute GARBAGE. I tried it on my notebook. Some error about about Displayport/MHL Connection might not work. Following the link in my Windows Notifications it says "You have connected a device with new USB Type-C features that are not supported by your system," and "You have connected a device with new USB Type-C features that are not supported by the cable." Fine. Whatever. It won't work on my notebook. Go and plug it into the USB C port on my desktop. Begins installing device drivers, freezes, restarts the computer and I end up in an endless boot loop with repeated multiple BSOD's. I'm tech savvy and I am pulling my hair out while I try to recover my OS from whatever this thing did to it as I write this review on my laptop.0/10. Would not recommend. I better get my money back.
