Grilla Grills Kong 24in Kamado Grill

Came as expected. Cooking is much different than propane grill, still getting use to it. Suggest you get receipt cook book as this may help. Also cooker is very heavy and need 2-3 folks to set the top on. However look forward to more grilling on the Kong. Note: Grill is good quality.

If you're on the fence about getting a kamado grill I would say don't hesistate to get this Kong. Customer service is good and the quality of grilling u can do with this kamado is awesome. I feel like i can make better kabobs than I eat at most restaurants .About the grill itself it's priced better compared to the competition and has better warranty .

Just got one of these for my birthday. I was super excited as this was the one thing I had wanted for a while now. it finally arrives at our new house and the thick metal band that wraps around the lid and attaches to the hinge is completely broken. Not even sure how something so blatantly broken can leave the manufacturing facility of a company who cares about their product. Whoever assembled the pit must've put in his two weeks 13 days before building mine. They sent me a replacement part after I sent them pictures of the obviously broken metal band. So I take off the old, broken one and come to find that its attached to the large, impossibly strong spring hinges. The hinges snap shut once you manage to painstakingly screw off the nuts. Not even superman himself can open those god forsaken hinges, so how exactly does Grilla Grills expect the average person to do it?? Horrible product. Will not recommend and will certainly not purchase another item from their catalog ever again.

Wow High Quality Materials, Very Nice Grill, real Grill...It has been 4.5 months since I purchased this wonderful grill.I have cooked very good meats: short ribs, steak skirts, sirloins, hamburgers and recently my own pizzas at 800F temperature, very efficient and effective. After doing a lot of research and reviewing the Big Green egg, Kamado Joes and Vision Kamados I purchased this. It is much cheaper than the BGE or Kamado Joe. It is very similar to the Kamado Vision Classic that Costco sells with a few key differences that I will describe. Overall, the ceramics all look the same including the thickness. The Kong comes with a 1 piece split inner bowl which keeps it from cracking (just like the other kamado brands). So the big difference that I noticed is that the kong comes with all stainless steel hardware of very high quality, including the legs. The wheels are also nicer quality than what you would find on the Big Green Egg or the vision grills. They also have a nice piston and easy lift cover which keeps the lid from slamming and possibly breaking. Cook wise I have noticed zero difference from this kamado and the big green egg that my neighbor has. The price and shipping to your door cant be beat. Totally happy with this purchase.

This thing is amazing!!! I have no regrets buying this grill. I have had this for a month now and I love it. I have smoked two whole chickens, a whole turkey, one pork butt, and grilled three or four times. There is nothing this thing can't do. And everything comes out with great flavor and super moist. You will have to buy the heat defusing stone foe smoking of course, but it is nice and thick and fits perfect. As far as quality is concerned it couldn't be better. It's all heavy duty stainless steal Hardware. The base is super sturdy. The vents all fit tight. And the caster wheels are great and roll very easy. On top of all that, the customer service is second to none. I talked to the owner of the company because I wanted to get it before Thanksgiving and he was very helpful and gave me options to get the grill faster and cheaper! The bottom line, this is absolutely a top quality kamado for one of the best price points on the market. An awesome company run by awesome people.
