Perfect for backpacking!
Since I’ve purchased it I’ve used it over 10 separate times in the mountains roughly 15 total days from 30 degrees out to 80. Rain, wind and sun. It’s been a favorite of mine to use out of the others I own. Super easy setup and disassemble and pack. Easy to put in its bag as well. The vented hood makes a big difference when in the dew or in rain. I never felt wet or damp inside. It does exceptionally well in wind. Plenty room inside, it’s possible to sleep 2 avg size people if need be. Quality built, lightweight, only modification I’ve done is painted the stakes pink so I didn’t loose them. They come in a dark green color. Recommend this to anyone looking for this style of tent.

Works well for the price
This is a great bivvy style tent and had gone with me on multiple 10+ mile trips and has kept me comfortable and warm. For the price I would say you simply can’t beat it.

Best of both worlds.
I love this tent! Just a good as top brands that are hundreds of dollars more. I'm on my third outing and actually reviewing from inside it. Large enough to keep the moisture off you, withstands light to moderate wind 10-20mph, keeps the frost off. Awesome. With a high end sleeping bag, this easily can be a 4 season. Sets up in minutes. Packs down nicely. 2 person tents too large and compact bivys are too small and damp. This just right. Hope this helps! -Reed

Awesome tent!
Would have been perfect if the fabric was water proof. Used it on a hunting trip and had some light snow and unfortunately some water got through. It marketed as 3 seasons so I’ll still give it 5 stars because everything else about it is great!!

Affordable, lightweight and waterproof
Great little tent for the money. Bought for a motorcycle trip where I knew it was going to rain all weekend but the tent did great. I stayed high and dry with no issues at all. Assembly is super easy and when packed it’s light and easy to carry. I am 6’2” and had plenty of room to spare inside as well.

Solid Value for a Tent You Can Use Most of the Time
Edit:After ~300 mi on the Appalachian Trail, the bug netting near the feet developed some small but noticeable holes in it, and the seam tape on the flooring started to weather. Overall, I think this was still a good value, but I plan on investing in something lighter for my next tent.Original:I haven’t put the tent through rigorous testing yet (specifically, I haven’t been through a heavy rain or for long-term durability yet) but will update the review if I find anything different than what I found in my first impression.I am 6’4” and 200lbs. This tent was plenty wide for me to sleep next to a full pack, but my head was basically at the top and my feet basically at the bottom. If you are taller than 6’4” I wouldn’t recommend this tent unless you prefer the fetal position while sleeping. The netting did a good job keeping bugs out. I like that there is zipper access on both sides. The fly kept me pretty warm when the temps dropped into the low 60s overnight. I can see this being helpful in cold weather camping and a pain in muggy, hot, rainy weather. That said, I don’t see this being a solid winter weather tent (i.e. you don’t want this in near-freezing weather). The one complaint I have that dropped a star for me is the stakes. I like they are lightweight, but two of mine bent going into hard (but not ridiculously hard) dirt. The company was quick to respond to my email about this, but I’m not sure this isn’t just a side effect of the lightweight material. I included a picture of this.I woke up dry with morning dew coating the fly and ground. I think this means it will hold up in rain, but until I test it in heavy rain I can’t call this with certainty.Overall, this is a solid tent at this price point. I wouldn’t take it on a long trip (like thru-hiking the AT) or in the winter, but I would take it for a week long trip during 3 seasons.

Can be decent for light use
Keeps the elements out but not very durable. Ripped along the bottom seam one month into a 3 month camping trip. I was packing and unpacking daily so I put some use onto it. Could probably use for light trips, however the class of tent you're buying is designed for hiking and prolonged use so I'd suggest get something bigger for light use or something more durable if you think you may be using this as your main shelter while backpacking.
