Great little tent.
Great tent for the soloist. Quick setup, quick breakdown. Comfortable inside too. Can sit up almost fully comfortably. Spikes and poles are pretty weak. I bent most of my spikes over one summer. Really good rain cover. Got heavy rain a couple times and stayed primarily dry. A bit of that is skill too. Great tent for the price.

Perfect for backpacking!
Since I’ve purchased it I’ve used it over 10 separate times in the mountains roughly 15 total days from 30 degrees out to 80. Rain, wind and sun. It’s been a favorite of mine to use out of the others I own. Super easy setup and disassemble and pack. Easy to put in its bag as well. The vented hood makes a big difference when in the dew or in rain. I never felt wet or damp inside. It does exceptionally well in wind. Plenty room inside, it’s possible to sleep 2 avg size people if need be. Quality built, lightweight, only modification I’ve done is painted the stakes pink so I didn’t loose them. They come in a dark green color. Recommend this to anyone looking for this style of tent.

Very nice tent. Worth the money!
This is a very nice single person tent. I am 6'2" and 230lbs and it was perfect for my needs. The weight of this tent is nice with the nice green aluminum and silver poles. Very fast to set up and pack up. The rain cover is a little cheap but can be repaired if you get a small tear or hot ash hole. I don't like to sleep in mummy sleeping bags, in fact, I HATE them. This tent with a normal size bag fits perfectly. I love how you can open either the left or right side open. WIth me being 6'2" I had room in my head area to put small gear. You will not be able to fit your pack in this tent. The small area where the rain cover allows you to put gear is why I have it 4 out of 5 stars. If it was about a foot longer that would have been perfect for my needs.

1st time hiking tent
Easy to put up... first time I used it in the rain. No leaks I was dry. Fit well in my back pack great product. No issues at all.

Terrific!
The camo scheme/color works as intended effectively rendering the tent nearly invisible when properly setup in the right environment. The tent is small but adequate and I'm 6' ft tall, although it's cramped when sitting up inside. Besides that it is otherwise quite roomy and not claustrophobic feeling. Overall it's a great stealthy tent for one person, the only shortcoming being how tight it is when sitting upright inside the tent. I just used the tent for a week long camping trip in the Coconino Forest in Arizona and it performed flawlessly and was easy to setup and take down.

Great solo backcountry tent!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was looking for a lightweight tent for solo hunting In backcountry and this has met every need and expectation I had. If I am solo and hiking many miles and vertical feet this is my go to tent. Good price point compared to some others as well. Lightweight: Very lightweight and easy to pack. Roomy: More room than a typical bivy tent which mad this very comfortable to sleep and move around in. Ventilation: No moisture issues from breathing like some bivy tents have and still waterproof like needed.

Solid Value for a Tent You Can Use Most of the Time
Edit: After ~300 mi on the Appalachian Trail, the bug netting near the feet developed some small but noticeable holes in it, and the seam tape on the flooring started to weather. Overall, I think this was still a good value, but I plan on investing in something lighter for my next tent. Original: I haven’t put the tent through rigorous testing yet (specifically, I haven’t been through a heavy rain or for long-term durability yet) but will update the review if I find anything different than what I found in my first impression. I am 6’4” and 200lbs. This tent was plenty wide for me to sleep next to a full pack, but my head was basically at the top and my feet basically at the bottom. If you are taller than 6’4” I wouldn’t recommend this tent unless you prefer the fetal position while sleeping. The netting did a good job keeping bugs out. I like that there is zipper access on both sides. The fly kept me pretty warm when the temps dropped into the low 60s overnight. I can see this being helpful in cold weather camping and a pain in muggy, hot, rainy weather. That said, I don’t see this being a solid winter weather tent (i.e. you don’t want this in near-freezing weather). The one complaint I have that dropped a star for me is the stakes. I like they are lightweight, but two of mine bent going into hard (but not ridiculously hard) dirt. The company was quick to respond to my email about this, but I’m not sure this isn’t just a side effect of the lightweight material. I included a picture of this. I woke up dry with morning dew coating the fly and ground. I think this means it will hold up in rain, but until I test it in heavy rain I can’t call this with certainty. Overall, this is a solid tent at this price point. I wouldn’t take it on a long trip (like thru-hiking the AT) or in the winter, but I would take it for a week long trip during 3 seasons.

Ok Geertop I’m impressed
Took this tent on a hike/camp at Lost Maples State Nature Reserve. The wind at camp was very strong and it rained for a solid 6 hours, never completely letting up . I have to admit I’m very impressed with this tent. It stayed solidly pitched and never leaked. I also was very comfortable and warm inside the tent. I’m 6’2” and 235lbs. I feel there is plenty of room in this tent for the type of design it is. Good job Geertop.

I have yet to camp with it but purchased it on a whim because I wanted to try bivvy-style tent camping this year. It is clearly made in China (the setup instructions do have English and are sewn into the bag on waterproof fabric which is always a plus) but it seems to be of decent quality and if you don't want to spend a fortune on an Alton Goods Swag Nanopore 1-person shelter but still want a bivvy tent camping experience, this is a good deal. I will update this review when I have had a chance to camp with it and hopefully, there will be some inclement weather too so I can report on its weatherproofing. You can find plenty of reviews on this tent on YouTube from people who have camped with this tent in all conditions and have good feedback to report. It does NOT come with a footprint so you will either need to buy one (the Eureka 1-Person footprint I have looks like it would fit) or use a tarp of plastic sheet. If you are car camping and weight and/or packability isn't an issue, I think a nice poly tarp would be perfect to keep moisture from coming up from the ground and protect the floor of the tend from punctures. If you are backpack or canoe camping and need to keep your gear weight and volume down, I would just get a Eureka footprint for it and call it a day. The stakes for it are actually pretty nice looking and while I do not know yet how durable they are, they are hexagonal shaped rather than round like most pegs. Not sure if this adds or takes away from it's durability and retention ability once in the ground, but it is a neat feature for sure. The only caveat to them that I can see if the fact they are OD green which will blend in if you forget one in or on the ground. You should always have an up-to-date inventory of all your pegs and do a peg roll call while packing up to leave so you don't find one or two get left behind. The stuff sack is actually a decent size and you an get everything back into it with minimal effort which is nice considering it seems like a lot of companies today will pack their gear tightly into their respective bags using robotic folding equipment, leaving you to struggle and eventually wave the white flag when trying to put it back in the bag. I found it easiest to put the tent poles and pegs in first, then the tent, then the rain fly.

Got this for my son. It's very light in weight, and very easy to assemble. The design helps keep the inner tent and the rain cover apart. I'm over 6 feet and I can comfortably fit inside. Only thing I would want to add is some kind of ground sheet to stop moisture coming up through the bottom part of the tent. It's a good product for the price.
