Gritty and gripping
I love a book where the main characters are finding more to learn about themselves, along with relationship interacies and boy, does this book satisfy.Dess, our FMC, is a trained assassin and has lived her life so far in pretty much isolation, believing she is killing for the good of the 'household'.Julius, Talon, Blaze and Garrison are the Chaos Crew, killers for hire, with strict standards dictating which jobs they take. When their worlds collide unexpectedly, they all have to face aspects of their pasts, trust issues, deceipt and rising passions. The imaginations and skill of these authors is to be applauded. The plot line is detailed and full of twists and turns and I found it exceptional how all five of these very strong characters, started to show their vulnerabilities.I can't believe I've only just found this series. I'm totally hooked now though!

Beautiful little killer
I have to say that the heroine in this book was one I never saw coming. The story took a long time to develop, but I guess this is due to more the continuing series.

Four stars
Stars given on level of engagement;5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged. .

A solid start
Definitely an interesting story with intriguing characters. Felt a little slow, and ended a little abruptly which is why I haven't given 5 stars.

Human Killer Machine
What a very interesting first book to this series of one trained killer meets 4 trained killers. Oh the things these 5 could do together and oh I think it’s just the beginning of a very deadly game of chaos. This story is one of a kind. So far it’s different from anything I’ve ever read before. It’s got you invested from chapter one for sure.Multiple POVs too.

Absolutely loved it
I absolutely loved this book it had plenty of mystery and story to go with the relationship and romance side.Dess is amazing and by the time the book ends she's well and truly had the rug pulled out from under her several times over. She strong on the inside and the outside. I loved the action scenes in this book. The guys, I love them all already but am particularly intrigued by Garrison and his life prior to ending up with the crew and why he's the way he is.So excited for book two, can't wait thankful this one didn't end on a big cliffie I was holding my breath and on tenterhooks for the last bit.
