Update 9/11/2021: Our original Wyatt is still going strong nearly 3 years later! We just ordered our second Wyatt unit for our new baby who is set to arrive any day now. Our original intention was to pass our first unit on to the new baby, but our son loves Wyatt so much, he couldn't part with him. So, a second one will be joining our home! Out of all the baby products I've purchased, these is by fair the best one, gets the most use, and was the best bang for our buck. Thanks for making our lives just a little bit easier, Wyatt the Whale! :) Update 3/6/2021: After over two years of using this product almost nightly, our friend Wyatt the Whale is still going strong! I still hold true to my original review that this is one of the BEST baby items we purchase. It was truly worth every penny. While my son doesn't use the white noise function as much anymore, he still uses the story function quite often, and uses the lights every night at bed time. I just love this so very much, and have recommended it to all my friends and family who've had a newborn! 5 Stars (Still)! :) Wyatt the Whale is absolutely wonderful! The variety of sounds, songs, and stories alone is a enough to make me love him. His ability to project different color stars on the ceiling, the app, and the volume control are icing on the cake. I appreciate his smaller size, and I didn't want something that took up took much space, but still wanted something that looked cute. I love that he plugs in instead of using batteries as well. My son never slept through the night in his crib, but the night we started using Wyatt, he slept 10 hours straight! This has been one of the best baby products we purchased for our family. Great item for adults as well; I love all the white noises sounds, especially the heartbeat and the hair dryer! 5 stars -- would purchase again and thinking about purchasing another for a gift to a friend!

I got this for my 4 month old daughter and I love it! I was surprised by how small it is for the price, but the quality and features are excellent. By far the coolest part of this is the downloadable Wyatt the Whale app that allows you to select and program what you want from the preloaded songs, sounds, and stories and put them in any order you want. I like that you can choose as little or as much of the preloaded items as you want. We chose about 15 songs, 3 sounds, and about 10 stories. When you first use the app, you'll have to connect to wifi and use the given password The total time between all the songs, sounds, and stories cannot exceed 45 minutes or so. There are 4 different settings for the lights in varying colors that project steady on the ceiling and works great as a night light. The stars shut off automatically after about 30 minutes, but the music, sounds, or stories stay on as long as you want with no auto shut off. The music sounds offer melodies of at least 25 songs for you to choose from. There are also at least 20 different noise sounds such as a fan, ocean, rain, heartbeat, etc to choose from and program into it. Personally, I found a lot of the sounds annoying and chose to only program the fan, ocean, and rain into ours. My favorite aspect of this is the ability to record yourself reading stories of your choosing into the whale. One of our favorite stories is "Guess How Much I Love You" so I recorded myself reading that. You do only have a 7 minute window per recording, so you'd want to choose short stories. We use this every night and it's one of my favorite baby purchases, so much so that I bought one for a friend who is expecting.

Not only is this really cute but it does so much I love the little star lights that change different colors. I love the fact that I can record a message, the stories, the music and the white noise sound. You get a lot with this product product

I really do like how this device provides a variety of nature sounds and music. However the bedtime stories are what my child prefers. My biggest gripe is how the storyteller does not maintain a consistent volume. It's almost as if they weren't told this was for someone trying to sleep; therefore there's no need to raise your voice if a character raises their voice. So the problem is that I keep the volume low but then you risk not hearing much of the story unless there's some shouting going on.

Always my favorite option for my kids when they're little. I've bought like 6 but only because my kids destroy the cords by ripping them out violently. These really are great though. Worth the price.

We received a set of vtech baby monitors during our baby shower, and have been using them daily for our four month old. We love them! So when we seen this super adorable Wyatt While noise machine, we knew we had to give h a chance! We are SO happy we did! We've only had him a few days, but of those few days he has been on non-stop. The sound is super crisp and clear. our baby is very happy with the variety of sounds and music. The start light setting we do wish had a rotate option to keep our busy baby a little more distracted, but the color changing seems to do okay so far too. Update: My baby is now 2 years old, and still loves her whale!! We use it every night! It's held up really well even after traveling, and being dropped a time or two! I highly recommend this adorable noise machine.

Love this sound machine! I was actually looking for some kind of voice recorder that I could record stories on for my 5 yo daughter. She gets scared at night and I thought if she had something that could read to her, it would help her fall back asleep. Bonus if I could record the stories! I was so excited to find this toy! (She also really enjoys the stars on her ceiling!) It has only been a week but already she is sleeping much better and I can get her back to sleep simply by tucking her in and turning on a story. I can’t wait for grandparents to come so they can record their own stories for her! I may have to purchase another for our 3 yo son bc he is getting quite attached to his big sisters! :) The app is incredibly quick and easy to use! Also the cord is nice and long. The outlet is at the foot of my daughters twin bed and it practically reaches up to her pillow.
