It’s fast, strong, and dependable. Here’s a revision!!!
After using it for several months I found that it is not durable at all. When I place the blade on the cup and put it on the motor everything seems fine. Until I turn it on and then the rubber gasket in the blade lid often comes off and it makes a lot of noise. Often when I engage the motor it jerks and unscrews the blade lid making a huge mess. So I screw it on super tight to keep the washer and lid in place. Then I can’t get the lid off. I’ve had it with this bullet, and I’m shopping for a different brand. I use it everyday for a breakfast smoothie. I use a lot of ice. It handles it no problems. I love the stainless steel cup. I don’t think it helps to keep much colder than the other plastic cup, really. I do feel like it’s sturdier. I expect it to last 20 years like the one it replaced. It’s good value for money.

A solid product, while you can still get it
This unit is apparently EOL, but I ordered it to replace one that eventually failed. I think it’s still a good value if you can get it.

Finally a blender with metal jar rather than plastic
Finally found a personal blender that’s not a plastic jar. I guess they discontinued this model for some reason, but it’s so hard to find a unit with either glass or stainless steel. Everything is plastic. We upgraded from the pro 900 and this one has noticeably a bit more power and seems quieter too. Hopefully we don’t need repairs or replacement in the future since it’s obsolete I guess, but since it works as good as the other units and removes the problem of plastic being the material, we give it 5 stars.

Ain’t This GRAND...?
I’m about a year into this thing, with moderate use (3 to 5 times a week per month), and I’m very satisfied with this baby. I had been using a Ninja dealie, the blue one with the motor in the top portion, and there’s no way in Fort Hell I’ll use that again. Numerous reasons why: The NutriBullet is more powerful and much easier to clean, and caters to my penchant for laziness. First, the motor driving the blades is faster (last I checked, 1000rpm beats 700rpm ever so slightly). This is great for smoother smoothies, especially those using ice and frozen fruit (pineapples especially). Getting cashews and almonds broken down also was amazing. And a bonus...? Neither motor is really much louder than the other, but there’s one great sidenote to this I’ll address later. No matter which cup I use, clean-up is a breeze for those and the blades. The Ninja’s lid had too many crevices and cracks to get into, which sometimes meant I could see Tuesday’s smoothie on it on Friday, thinking I was thorough but wasn’t when washing it. The dishwasher failed to get it clean consistently as well. Then there’s the whole “slip it in and walk away” factor. 1 minute later, it’s done. Never had to run it again to break it all down, but did because of user error trying to perfect the consistency I wanted on rare occasion. With the Ninja...? Had to pulse it to get it started, then had to stand there and HOLD the button for about a minute or so, and STILL dealt with shards of ice and pineapples and small handfuls of cashews and almonds settled at the bottom after two or three cycles of my life wasted. So the added benefit to less usage of the motor is it’s easier on your ears! You can walk away from the NutriBullet, unless you just wanna watch the magic...which you can’t do with the metal cup (spoiler alert). So that’s less aural burn, especially even IF the Ninja handles your smoothie in ONE cycle. Now the Ninja was a gift that didn’t even belong to me, but the NutriBullet set me back quite a bit. “Ya get what ya pay for”, fam. This was VERY worth every cent. There are others out there that likely are better and/or less expensive than this, but I totally recommend this very one, at least over that Ninja, every day, all day. To your health, yo! UPDATE (12 Jan 2022): Welp, it finally happened…the included blade assembly, for lack of a better verb, “exploded”. It’s user error, but a lotta folks have told me it’s not made to last forever. So I’m not bitter at all. I hadn’t made replacing it a priority, so it’ll be done when I get it done. Point here being: Two years or so, expect an issue with your blade. Inexpensive as it is, that absolutely doesn’t change my rating one bit. If it’s still available, y’all, GET YOU ONE!! UPDATE (6 Nov 22): I forgot to do this back in May when I ordered the part and had it shipped to me. At the time, the replacement blade for THIS model was NOT carried on Amazon; you had to do it through the NutriBullet website or call the number provided in your package. It took a couple searches and merchants saying they didn’t know for sure it their blade would work because of the limited edition model that this is. So when you get this, save your papers, register your product, and when 18 months is up, you can either tempt fate and try your luck on Amazon, OR just do like I finally did and hit the website to order a new blade. Knowledge is power, y’all!!

Third NutriBullet purchase - PRIME is the best one yet!
This is my third NutriBullet. I have owned two of the 900w versions and I was pretty happy with them. I use them mostly for post-workout shakes that include protein powder, frozen berries (lots of seeds) and whatever veggies I have in the fridge. They do a really good job grinding everything up. My main complaint with the 900w versions were the noise. I'd have to warn my family when I was about to make a shake so I didn't scare the heck out of them. I bought the my last 900w one about 3 years ago so it's possible things have improved, but I decided to go with the NutriBullet PRIME this time. The first thing I noticed about the PRIME is how much quieter it is! The older ones spin up to full speed almost immediately but this one ramps up over a couple seconds. It seems way less violent and more controlled. Another thing on the older versions is they always tell you not to leave it on for over a minute so I'd either have to time it or take a guess. This one shuts off automatically. I highly recommend the PRIME version if you are going to get one. It's worth the few extra bucks. Also, you get 3 large cups with this set. I found the smaller cups to be completely useless so even disregarding the new features, this is the best value strictly because of the cups.

Powerhouse lasts for years. I can’t eat seed but this pulverized them into specks that I could eat. Blackberries in my smoothies are back on the menu!

Good piece of kit, comes with some useful accessories. A bit noisy, but it's only brief.

Producto de gran calidad. No tengo mucho tiempo para desayunar y, definitivamente, con este producto me facilita mucho hacer un licuado para no tener el estómago vacío por las mañanas y de manera sana.
