So much better than an exercise ball
It was easy to put together and adjust to the height I need. Since I don't move the stool out of my cubicle very much, I haven't experienced the top popping off like other reviewers. The padding on top isn't great, but isn't terrible. After a while it can get a bit uncomfortable but a quick stand and stretch or a walk to the water fountain is enough of a break to make it comfy again.I found that periodically throughout the day, adjusting the height up and down kept my posture better since I tended to start to hunch after a while at one height. Also, since it doesn't roll like an office chair, it forces me to stand up to get something from the far side of my desk or reach the coffee pot, which also helps my posture and reminds me to stretch.I do have ADHD and even with my medication, being confined to a cubicle for 8 hours is really hard for me and my productivity. I tried the exercise ball thing a while ago, but it just felt silly and keeping the amount of air in it was annoying. This stool is so much easier and really helps keep me focused. Since I can wiggle and adjust and rock and move while working, I feel less "cooped up" in my cubicle and stay focused on each task longer. It also looks a lot more professional than sitting on an exercise ball.

Well made - well thought out design
I bought this chair to use at at my computer on a low "typewriter" height desk, so use it at its fully lowered 18" height. Sitting on the stool feels totally natural and requires no concious balancing. I was concerned that since it has no wheels I would miss scooting the chair around (among table, desk, file drawers, etc.) This hasn't been an issue. Without a back on the stool, getting off and on the seat is very easy, and a little more convenient than my old chair. That is, I can get up from my desk without scooting the chair backwards, and so the chair stays in place, mostly. So far, I'm using it for several hours a day, and I think my lower back muscles are happier.(not using my old chair at all, so far) The stool is a lot more sturdy than I expected. I think they've sorted this one out pretty well. No problems with the base clips, as experienced by several previous buyers.

Great Customer Service
Update: I contacted Kore about the faulty clips and lumpy seat and they responded very quickly and had great customer service.I am updating my review now that it has been a year since I purchased this stool. The seat is still lumpy and uncomfortable for long term use. There seems to be a flat spot in the base that makes it want to pull in that direction so it doesn't rotate very evenly. I have also noticed that the tabs on the bottom that hold the rubber on have been falling out, leaving half the rubber flapping around. For the price I would not recommend this stool at all.Original 3 Star: I was excited to receive this stool. I take it with me to work and it really helps with back pain and posture. However, the cushion is lumpy and not very comfortable for long term sitting. I can't use it more than 2 hours because it makes my butt numb. I bought the cloth seat so I don't know if the leather would be different.

Dissapointed... Will not buy again
Had high expectations from this chair but I was left dissapointed. Within days of getting this product the bottom of the chair began to fall apart. The plastic clips that holds the rubber base together is poorly constructed and snaps off easily. Looking to return the chair.

The wobble is just right for my back.
This chair works great, on carpet or hard floor. The wobble is just right. I suggest easing into its use: just an hour the first day, two hours the next, etc., otherwise your legs might hurt. I use it in a lower position to sit at my regular desk and at the highest position to sit at my raised desk. I wish this chair raised even higher so that I could use it while almost standing.

Seat is too stiff. You should avoid this if you have lower back pain.
I loved the concept of the seat and enjoyed the rocking motion a lot. However I could not use this for more than 20 minutes. The stiffness of the seat is very hard and it caused a lot of pain in my lower back and glutes. It's unfortunate that this wonderful product must be returned. I really hope the manufacturers take into consideration of this problem and make improvements with the Kore chair.

Decent comfort. Shoddy Construction
As others have mentioned the rubber base falls off after a pretty short period of us. Definitely a design flaw. I still rest the metal bottom on the rubber base as I'm not sure what damage the metal bottom would do to the carpeting. Other than that, the chair is pretty comfortable for me. I'm not sure I'm getting any benefits from it, but it works.

Love these stools
bought for office after having one at home. love the ability to learn forward when typing. also better than a chair because you are more mobile when reaching for items on desk because it rocks toward the direction you are leaning. Also you can tell when you start to slump which remind you to sit up which I guess is where they got the name core stool.
