Wonder Woman: A Word Adventure! (DC Super Friends Word Adventures) Board book – August 1, 2014

This book was a big hit for all the little girls I gave it to for Christmas. When I was a a little girl, Wonder woman was my favorite super hero. I loved her outfit, those bracelets that could deflect bullets, and that lasso that would make you tell the truth. We need that lasso today with all the crooks in the world! LOL I loved when she would spin around and change - POW!!! And, you knew the bad guys were going down. And, I always wanted one of those invisible planes! Now, that's what's up! The illustrator did a great job on all the pictures. I love this book and will buy more copies to give to more friends' little girls. But, I will also keep a copy on my shelf of children's books. Anytime I take care of my friends' kids, this is one of the books that will be read at story time. I highly recommend this book.

It is really nice having books featuring women to read to my niece. Wonder Woman is a great role model and you need to allow girls to gain a strong sense of agency from the earliest point possible. Especially after this 21st century pushback against feminism.The words are simple and the typeface seems amateur. The pictures and words could be larger. I don't care because it's not promoting subservient behavior.

Every nerd with a daughter should have a copy of this to read to her. It's one of my toddler's favorites. Which is good, as she's had Wonder Woman outfits in the clothing rotation since she was born.Now, I'm a little confused by the kangaroo wearing an Amazonian tiara - but then again, I haven't read all of the Wonder Woman comics. Maybe it was originally in a post-Crisis storyline.

My daughter loves Wonder Woman - which is just about my dream come true. She still loves Princesses, yes, but Wonder Woman ranks pretty high up there. This is a cute word book.

My son loves this book. He got the Superman one first but he loves this one just as much. They are his two favorite books.The colors and illustrations are appealing to a baby and there are a lot of opportunities for introducing new vocabulary words.I only wish they would do more in this series!

My daughter absolutely loves this book. Reads multiple times a day. I love that Wonder Woman is shown in a strong and age appropriate manner (a muscular figure not overly sexy). I also appreciate that the board stock is quite thick and will outlast many other board books that I have bought.

I just got this book for my best friend's new baby girl. I think it's important for the next generation to see super ladies being super awesome and this book did just that. Plus it had a long time comic book fan like me reminding myself of Wonder Woman's lesser known abilities, like that she can talk to animals!

A fun little board book for a pre-schooler. Little girls need super heroes too and Wonder Woman is great!

My daughter enjoys this book. It is very colourful and age appropriate intro to comic charachters.
