Valley Yarns Charlemont Fingering Weight Sock Yarn, Superwash Merino Wool/Silk/Polyamide - Evergreen

The media could not be loaded.  So excited to use this for my Painting Bricks shawl! So incredibly soft!

I'm not sure what I was expecting but it was so soft. It's now my base warn for Stephen West 's Painting Triangles.Just wish I could easily find other colors.

I was thinking before the yarn arrived, that I'd probably made a mistake ordering this yarn. That it probably wouldn't be that soft, that it was a bit expensive for me, and that I'd probably just return it if I could. I'm sensitive to abrasive fabrics, it just makes me tense to touch something unpleasant. Then I grabbed a hank of this wonderfully soft, squishy...stuff. I felt my whole body relax. I wanted to hug it and spend time with it. It seems to have great bounce, drape, and even a nice subtle sheen. The colors I received are very saturated. It's exactly what I was hoping for. I can't wait to use it!

The service was prompt and the yarn is soft and will be a delight to knit with.

Soft. Skien hard to unravel, but this may be the fault of the knitter. Easy to work with.

This a very nice light weight yarn. The color is a beautiful burgundy color.
