MiiR Camp Cup, 12oz - Double Wall Vacuum Insulated, Stainless Steel with Splash-Proof Slide Lid

I like the size and weight of the cup. I use it at home and my coffee stays hot till gone. Nice color and I just throw it in the dishwasher. I plan on buying a few more to always have one for my morning coffees!

Spent a lot of money on a variety of cups ( electronic included) that "promised" to keep your beverage hot...but did not. Decided to try this camp style cup and WOW! Keeps the beverage nice and hot, lid fits securely with an opening for sipping that closes to retain the heat. It also hand washes up like new. A win, win!

In addition to this Miir Camp Cup, I also own a 14oz Yeti Rambler. In my review of the Rambler (link at the end of this review), I mention the Miir as having an advantage over the Rambler in its form factor if you are grabbing it like a tumbler (i.e., the Rambler is very wide and squatty); however, using the handle on this mug is not a good experience due to its design. The attached photos show the Miir side-by-side with the Yeti. The Miir handle is both thinner and narrower, which makes it much less comfortable to hold. In addition, the handle has an angle to it, that I can find no other reason for other than aesthetics. Because the handle is wider at the top, the mug tends to tip away from your hand when you pick it up, which I find extremely annoying. Although the Miir holds 2 more ounces than the Yeti, it is a lighter-weight construction. In addition to the smaller handle, it has a thinner lid with a smaller pour opening and slider. The overall weight of the Miir is about 25% less than the Rambler. If you have very small hands or otherwise find the Rambler to be too unwieldy, you might give this mug a try, but my recommendation is to get the Yeti. Miir makes great stuff! I love this much in the smaller sizes. This was a little too wide to fit in my cupholders. For that reason I returned it. The build quality is very good. They're thinner and lighter than Yeti and slightly less than RTIC.

I bought a new Keurig, the one that reads the code from the top of the capsule and brews the coffee according to a custom recipe for that coffee, and connects to Alexa, etc. But the spout to base distance was reduced, the steel cup we used to use wouldn't fit anymore. This cup fits perfectly, and is well made. It holds all of the coffee that the keurig will produce, and is exactly what I wanted. It is easy to pour coffee out of this cup into another cup. It looks good and seems well made.
