Great aftermarket replacement battery for your PSP GO
After awhile of storage my original battery died. I tried to get it to hold a charge but it was done. I went ahead and ordered this replacement for my PSP GO because I was also installing my SD2M2 memory card into my GO. Why not kill two birds with one stone? So I used the step by step instructions on Ifixit to walk me through this process. I have never opened my go before and needed to see the proper way of doing this job.The only issue I ran into was the wires for the battery weren't as a long as the stock ones, maybe by 5 to 10 mm? I don't know, but my solution was to plug the battery into the motherboard first then place the battery into it's stock location. Yes it took me three tries to get it, just had the ben d the wires a little more to finally get the battery into it's location without it disconnecting from the motherboard.Great battery and looks just like the stock one except the cable length and of course one logo on the battery wasn't present. But still gave my PSP GO another chance at life and my SD card install works great. All in all it took me maybe 30 minutes from start to finish to replace the battery. Just read ifixit's site to decided if this job is right for you.
