Xbox 360 controller led mod RING OF LIGHT LEDS- ORANGE

These LEDs work perfectly, even better than I had hoped. Yes, they have to be soldered to the circuit board - Was not hard to do, after watching some videos easily found on YouTube. This product is designed to be an O.E. type of replacement - There is no way to do this mod without first detaching the old LEDs (Un-soldering), and then attaching the new LEDs (Soldering), as the controllers come from the factory with soldered-in green LED's. This product should not be rated poorly because it is not "Plug-and-play" - It's not supposed to be. Research pays off - Remember it is our responsibility as consumers to ask questions before buying ANY product - including "How do I install this product?". All in all, I recommend this product to anyone who has done the proper research, and is both; willing to forfeit any warranty on the controller to install the LEDs, and: wanting to add some style to their controller.

Need to have & know how to use a soldering iron & soldering abilities.

This is a tough job and not for noobs at soldering (me) i followed the diagram, that has no instructions and put the NEGATIVE where it says to put it on my matrix xbox 360 controller. I got it on there and soldered the top and bottom side not a lot or over heating it i turned it on and nothing. Either this seller gave me a wrong diagram for the matrix board or i did something wrong, but i tryed the way it said and nothing ever happend. Great LED'S and all of that just NO DIRECTIONS OR IMPUT. So if you decide to do this than be a experienced solderer. But the LED's are small and you need bent angle tweezers,quality soldering gun a big one and a little one, with quality solder.

I got this product to put in my orange controller with black buttons. I got it very fast and was pleased with the shipping. I tried to install them but it was my first time doing them so they took a while to get. The lights look better than I expected though. The only problem is that it's a lot harder to install than it looks.

First of all everyone says these are small well Believe it they are so damn small that you should have a Soldering Iron setup with a large magnifying glass and some decent tweezers! I literally spent more time searching for them when I dropped the led's then installing them. DO NOT force the old ones off you need to let that Iron get hot and go back and forth until the old led's pop off on their own if u pull them off they will tear the connection right off. I was way to close to learning that lesson the hard way! Watch a few tut's on youtube.. Seller Is QUICK Support is EXCELLENT WILL recommend and REBUY from this SELLER!!!!

this LED only worked on one of my controllers. it was the original white xbox controller. i tried it on the slim xbox version controller and got NOTHING. three different LED lights and none worked on newer version of xbox controllers so my idea the change my LED lights on my controller has gone out the window

not sure if i got bad ones.. but i got them in and everything seemed fine but then a couple stopped working..
