I spend a good deal of time in the Michigan UP and wanted to play around with the fad of the "YooperLites" which are stones that glow in black light. I ordered this expecting to get some mundane flashlight and this thing was as heavy duty as the one I have in my truck for regular use. Heavy aluminum and runs on 2 big batteries (included) that have a special charger (Included - you provide your own USB power supply). This thing REALLY cranks out the light and they include a set of plastic UV safety glasses to cover your eyes (don't look directly at the light). I was impressed, and I have to say that the scary part of it all was that I have animals in my house and everything looks clean. You take a stroll around in your house with it in the dark and it either looks like a crime scene or a house of ill refute - you might not want to use it in the bedroom or bathroom!! I had to make the funny note because I always clean up the messes and I was shocked to see they were not really cleaned, If you are a landlord you might want to buy one of these for when the tenants leave so you can see how well they cleaned the place up, or what surprises may be soaked into the carpet - just a thought!! I think it is great and can't wait to use it for what I bought it for!

these really make the yooperlights or sodalights glow at night. made them easy to see. makes them clearly glow a bright orange and easy to spot. great price for these compared to the convoy product.

I bought two of these for finding yooper lights on lake superior (they glow orange like lava in the UV light at night) we took these out for the first time this year and found a bunch! (for reference, finding one is a win). Definitely recommend.

Good light. Long lasting. Great that it comes with the glasses. I found a lot of yooperlites with this!
