Adorable. These maracas are a gift for our high-school choir teacher, as “maracas” is a rhyme for his last name. They are a perfect small size and have a nice sound. Perfect quality for the price. He will love them.

Well, these small and almost solid maracas are great for soft music accompaniment, or for practicing against low volume, but anytime the music might get loud, these would become inaudible. BUT these are the red stripes. The Green Stripe ones are a tone lower. Also, if get a set of each, then you can hold the reds in the right hand, and the greens in the left, with the balls pointed off in opposite. that configuration would allow one to shake out to half beats of what a single maraca could do, and because their tone is so dampened, getting out of that thick wood, that some sloppiness in times would hardly be jarring to anybody, and I've had fun playing with them in this configuration, along with speaker music not loud enough to bother any of the neighbors, or even my cats.

This set of two rattles is exactly what I wanted. They have a very pleasant sound. They are easy to operate. They fit nicely in the hand and are very smooth wood. The subtle red ring is a nice artistic touch. I hope they last for a very long time because they are wonderful. Very pleased with my purchase, I recommend anyone looking for an inexpensive pair of rattles

Good quality Fun

The handle is only about 4 inches and the actual round Maraca part is about an inch & a half. I saw 8 inches and figured it should match the true size of a REAL PROFESSIONAL MARACA. There is no way you can make any type of “professional” music with this small child hand shaker. So disappointing. The description should state these are not true to size Maracas!!!! This is a true scam. The size of a headset ear piece. IT’S A RATTLE!!!

Purchased for 3 year old grandson who loves music. This was a great choice to fit in a musical family and be included as young as 3

My son is a percussionist in my city and last year they played with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. He's in his 5th year with his program and at his last concert they played we don't talk about Bruno from Encanto and he played maracas and rocked it I wanted to get him a set so I bought these they have great sound but they are quite a bit smaller than what he's used to by about 25%. He'll still use them but these would be more appropriate for somebody with much smaller hands

They have survived being smashed off the floor by my toddler, and they sound really nice.

Purchased as Christmas gifts for children and thoroughly enjoyed on opening. Colorful, sturdy and an asset for dancing musical children
