A worthy buy.
I’ve had this installed for about two weeks, and it works very well. The videos are created as 1980x720, and is a split image with each camera on a side. That means each camera is recorded at 990x720 pixels, and you watch both at the same time when viewing them on your computer. One thing about reviewers complaining about how it works: it MUST be on a SWITCHED circuit. That way, it powers up and goes into recording mode (After a voice greeting in odd but cute English “Wish you a safe trip!”) when you start the car, and will record for about 3 minutes after you shut off the car. Do NOT use motion mode, or A), you will just about never get back into the menu system because that’s locked out while recording. (Bump it by pushing a button and it’s recording again) and, B) you will end up with a gazillion 10 second videos on the card. If you set it up for 3 or 5 minute videos, that’s what it creates, videos that just start where the last one ends, ad infinitum, IF you turn OFF motion detect mode. Audio is pretty good also. Each camera swivels around, so you can choose which to aim forwards or backwards, or out a side window. If you have the left one aimed out the back window, and are stopped by police, swivel that one to the side window to record your exchange for future evidence. After about 3 minutes, the screen turns off, but do NOT worry it’s still recording full time. The flashing blue light means it’s alive and well. A red light means it’s charging its battery. Note that you can change the camera viewing order by long-pressing the right arrow button. Each long press will cycle between right cam/left screen, right cam/right screen, and each camera by itself.I give only 4 stars because the cameras cannot be aimed up or down. If you tilt the recorder to aim a front facing cam lower to catch the vehicle hood, the other one aims at the ceiling of the car, and they are slightly skewed from one another. Another reason for 4 stars is Linux, which will instantly recognize just anything plugged into a USB port, cannot see this camera, so I have to use a card reader. I’m guessing it’s fine on a Windows machine, but I don’t have one to test the theory. Power is a mini-USB, not a micro. (A good thing as Micro-USB connectors can be delicate/intermittent crap) The power connector is on the right side, so the cord sticks out. The red SOS button locks the last couple of videos to prevent erasing, but that’s not a real concern unless you are using a tiny 2G card or the like. Use a 16G or 32G card, and it will take at least a couple of days to record over your previous videos. If you have an accident, chances are high you’ll be pulling the camera out right then to retrieve evidence videos on the spot, so the SOS button isn’t really all that important.

WARNING: AVOID AT ALL COSTS
This unit looks and sounds like a good idea. HOWEVER, the unit I received was programed in Chinese only. There is no way to change the language setting to English.UPDATE 10/29/2016: I have tried to work with the seller to get a refund, and Youzee refused to refund the purchase unless I removed my negative product review. I have also contact Amazon customer support to get a refund, and nothing happened. So, I'm out $48.99 for a product that was not as advertised, did not work as advertised, and now does not function.So, here's my story:When the unit arrived I tried to program the unit for English. The instructions are written in Chinese with a very poor translation. Youzee sent me three emails telling me how to program the unit to Chinese. Youzee also was insulting by telling ME to get someone to help with the English, since "I" did not understand the instructions. I was born in the U.S., have to BS degrees, Masters, and now working on my doctorate. I read, write, and speak the English language as my first language. Youzee on the other hand wrote emails in English so poor that they needed a translator to just write their reply emails. Out of desperation, I teach at a university with an international student and faculty body, and found a faculty member from mainland China to translate the instructions. Even he could not understand how to program the unit to English. After nearly two weeks of trying every permutation of the instructions, I finally programed the unit to English, and the method did not resemble the instructions in the manual or given me by Youzee staff. Once programmed, the unit will only record 2,3, or 5mins of video. If you have an accident, you must push the red "SOS" button to save the video. You better hope you're not unconscious or you won't have a video record of the event. Finally, the other day, someone almost hit my car. I went to review the video and the unit saved still-shots from well over a month ago. Good but you get what you pay for.
I wanted a dual lens since I am an uber driver. I wasn't prepared to spend the money on the Falcon Zero F360 that was recommended. This was a price I could deal with and I got the dual cam. When I plugged it in to my car the first time nothing happened. I tried charging it first but it still didn't work. I had to push the reset with a pin to get it to work. It has worked ok for a while then started to shut down by itself. The car adapter plug developed a short. This was a simple fix, I changed out the power cord for one that just plugs in to USB. The menus are a little strangely worded and the "nightvision" is not very good. The little white "lights" on the side of the camera are not lights so they provide no help.

Not enough night vision. I work from 3 pm on Thursday to 1 am, then Friday and Saturday from 2 pm till 5 or 6 am driving for Uber in Atlanta Ga. So 75% of my rides are after dark. Reviewing the night time footage you could not see the passengers in the rear seat. Only four infrared lights for either side. For people who just need a camera for day work,, I would suggest this camera.

The camera turns off every 5 min.whitch is very distracting when you are driving in heavy traffic.So I returned the camera to the shipper .that information should be put in the add for the camera .
