loves the spicy and sweet
Loves this sweet and spicy hot sauce. I can enjoy spicy foods and this can be use with many different kinds of foods. So this Vermont Maple Sriracha from Sugar Bob's Finest Kind peaked my curiosity right away...and I'm so pleased I tried it! The jalapeño peppers give it a bit of a kick, but the sweetness of the maple syrup makes it more edible and pleasurable for me. I like how it's nice and thick.

Love it but not the cost
My wife and son love to add hot sauces to their food. We've tried many, especially my wife. And she's tried some from different cultures as well. This hot sauce hit the spot with her and she actually finished the entire bottle quite quickly. My son thought this was good, but the heat level was a bit much for him. Instead of using a ton of hot sauce, he used this one sparingly. My wife actually enjoyed this so much that she ate it by the spoonful on occasion. It pairs well with everything she's put it on, and there wasn't a complaint. We'd love to keep this stocked, but the cost is quite high, especially with how my wife likes to eat it. This would be more of a treat for us.

My husband loves it
I'm not really into spicy food but my husband is, so I grabbed this for him and he loved it. He said it was the perfect amount of heat and flavor, since sometimes hot sauces are hot for the sake of being hot but have no actual "flavor" to them outside of that. The maple complimented the heat, and he loves sriracha so overall he was really happy with it and would purchase it again.

Very tasty sauce!
I quite enjoy hot sauce, and the combination of sweet and hot in this sauce is delicious! It's good on just about anything but I really enjoyed it on chicken. I would say it is on the warm side, so if you don't have a good heat tolerance it might be hot.

Excellent flavor, on the hotter side
To me there is no such thing as a ‘bad’ hot sauce - I like them all! I should also preface this review by noting that I can tolerate pretty extreme heat. This sauce is on the hotter side, but not overwhelming. I personally would rate it as ‘medium hot’ (hotter than ‘medium’ but not completely ‘hot’, and certainly not what I would call ‘very hot’ - but again, I can tolerate a LOT of heat, so keep that in mind!). The maple sugar serves to temper the heat just a bit, and also provides a nice depth of flavor, giving the sauce an ever-so-slightly fruity hint. It is a bit expensive, but at 9.6oz it is almost double the typical 5-ish ounce size hot sauces you typically see on the market. Overall I really like this because I do appreciate the heat, but even more so because the flavor is actually pretty good as well.

Hotter or Sweeter??
Do you like hotter or sweeter? First of all, Hotness and sweetness are relative and are really all in the mouth of the beholder. However, in hot sauce and female companionship, I prefer sweeter over hotter. I expected a company from Vermont named "Sugar Bob's," would make MAPLE Habanero Sriracha Hot Sauce rather than this HABANERO Maple Sriracha Hot Sauce. In other words, I wish it was sweeter and not quite as hot... at least for most uses.

Goes best with chicken or pork.
Bought it for my husband who has a long history of enjoying various Sriracha sauces. This is among his top favorites. The touch of maple syrup made it extra special and delightfully different than their usual Sriracha sauce. This was a winner! It is quite hot, so make sure you like spicy before ordering. We put it on everything... eggs, biscuits and gravy, nachos, chicken, etc. It is just so good! Can't believe it's just a couple ingredients, but it's the perfect combo of every single one of them. A little goes a long way so it lasts a long time.

Like Sriracha? This is a good brand and the "maple" isn't overpowering.
In our family, we love to try new sauces, including hot sauces, so we were happy to give this a good test and write a review via the VINE program. For myself, I'm not a person who regularly reaches for sriracha and I discovered that's true throughout my family. Our preferences run to other brands of sauces we've found over the years. One reason is that sriracha, in our experience, tends to run a bit sweeter than other sauces we enjoy. We tend to like more tang or often a more vinegar-like flavor. So, we were a bit skeptical when trying a sriracha that makes "maple" one of its selling points. In fact, we were pleasantly surprised. In fact, we collectively agree: The main thing to say about this product is that it tastes just like sriracha. To be honest, we couldn't have distinguished maple from the flavor alone. Apparently, it's just the sweetener this manufacturer uses to give the sauce its sweet notes. So, if the "maple" in the label is making you shy away, we say: Fear not! If you like sriracha, you'll almost certainly like this brand with a bit of a different flavor profile. How hot is this? Well, that's a very personal matter in a food review. One of our family members loves hot foods and his response was: "This has a decent heat. I say that as a person that likes hot, so I'm going to guess that some others will find this quite hot. If you're a hot person like me, it's going to be good, but it won't blow your socks off."Then, in our family, we range all the way to folks who don't like hot at all, who regard this as quite a hot sauce. All in all, tasting different brands is fun. If you think so, too, then definitely give this sauce a try!
