Aqua Lung 6.5mm Superzip Ergo Dive Boots

These were just what I was looking for; however, I had to return them. I had been looking for a water bootie to use along the Oregon Coast for photographing tide pools and haystacks that would give protection on the lava rock and keep my feet comfortable from breaking surf. The boot gave just the right degree of flex for feeling the surface you're walking on while having enough tread to keep you safe from the ragged rocks. The problem for me was the ankle pocket. I had to force the zipper up and once up, the boot top was uncomfortably tight on my leg. My ankles and lower calf are a little puffy as the day wears on but I don't think they're exceptionally big--especially compared to a muscular man's leg and larger anklebone structure. So, if you have slender legs and ankles, you should be good to go with these boots.

I have a wide foot, and These are just slightly wider than standard dive boots, nothing spectacular. They do run extremely small length wise. Order atleast a size up to start with. The soles are extremely soft and flexible, if you are expecting hard soles, these are not it. As far as dive boots go, these have reasonably large ankle openings. These only get 4 stars because they lack a fin keeper.

Love the boot.Like other reviewers say, buy one size up from what your normal boot size is and you will be fine.I normally wear an 11 or 11 1/2 shoe and I ordered at 12. A 12 was a perfect fit.

I have wide feet so most dive boots and fins would pinch the balls of my feet and they would go numb after 10 to 15 min In my fins. I have used these for several dives now with my old fins and they have made all the difference
