These work on stand alone CD recorders!
After reading some reviews i was hesitating over buying these discs. I contacted Maxell (who replied in15 minutes!) who assured me these would work in my Pioneer PDR 609. They do! Sounds just like the vinyl original on playback. I don’t know about other brands of recorder but if you have a Pioneer you can use these discs. Just make sure they are in the red & white package and say CD R music (actual quote from Maxell customer service). Hope this helps.
