As a perfume enthusiast, I found this really disappointing. The alcohol hits you immediately, overpowering any actual fragrance. It takes a good 5–10 minutes for the scent to settle, and by then it’s weak and forgettable. At $30–$40, I expected more depth and quality — instead, it just smells cheap and harsh. The problem is, if the perfume is made with a low concentration of oils (say, more like an eau de toilette than an eau de parfum), you’re basically getting a few drops of fragrance in a pool of alcohol. Which is why you spend the first 5–10 minutes thinking, “Wow, did I just spritz on vodka?” before the real notes finally peek through. By then, the moment’s kinda ruined. If you’re investing your money, honestly, I’d tell you to skip anything that can’t hold its own past the alcohol phase. A good fragrance should bloom on contact, not make you wait for the alcohol burn-off to finish. For that price, I’d look into oil-based perfumes or attars instead—no alcohol harshness, just straight concentrated fragrance that stays rich from start to finish.

I have been a sometime fan of The Body Shop for decades, and recently checked to see if they had anything to update my fragrance wardrobe. I wanted something to be able to wear casually, during daytime primarily. This is that for me. Not least of all because it smells nearly identical to the Degree women’s deodorant I already use. That really blew my mind. I’m glad I didn’t spend too much on this. I like it, but I won’t rebuy it.

I almost didn't buy this according to the reviews saying it's very different than the original. I'm happy I took a chance because those reviews are wrong! Smells almost identical to the original 90s version! Brought back happy memories and have my signature scent back! Only slight difference is it may have a bit more alcohol than the original carried in oil. But it disappeared in 5 min and I'm left with a clean skin beautiful musk. I love this so much! I have many more expensive choices in my collection- but I'll be reaching for this one for a long time.

It smells just like the fragrance I used to purchase at the Body Shop store. I am soooo grateful!!! It is the only fragrance I wear!

SMELLS EXACTLY LIKE MINE FROM THE 90’s!!!!

I bought the white musk and it smells clean, feminine, fresh and slightly floral, however it does not last even 5 minutes-not even if you spray it on clothes. The price is too much for something that has less staying power than a body mist. I’m not happy at all. The bottle comes heavily Saran wrapped and it’s impossible to unwrap. On the label itself it has a suggested manufacturers price and it’s in indian rupees (INR) so I think it’s imported.
