Out of the box I could hardly believe the quality of craftsmanship in this knife. For a $40 knife, the company took a lot of pride in their product.The box itself shows this, as it's a black sturdy box with silver foil lettering and logo. When I comment on packaging it's always really good or really bad, this is really good.The leather sheath is well constructed, sturdy, and aesthetically pleasing. Only thing is it's under the box insert, and I forgot it was supposed to be included until I was about to do the review.Now back to the knife. The second I saw it I was surprised by the appearance. The pictures don't do it justice.Once in hand, I noticed that everything lined up perfectly. This knife was definitely designed with pride. The scales are perfectly fit to the tang, right down to the lanyard hole being perfectly flush.Upon edge evaluation, I found the blade to be shaving sharp and have no blemishes. Basically this knife had perfect fit and finish.Upon edge retention testing, I found the steel to be on par with a mid range steel like D2 or Aus 10. The edge held up nicely and sharpened up easily.If you buy this, you'll definitely be getting an excellent knife, and an extremely good value.

The first thing I noticed was the really nice presentation box. The knife itself is really good looking - the pictures on Amazon do not do it justice. The knife in the box is really a thing of beauty.Well suited to be a present.The handle looks like expensive hardwood, but is made out of lightweight and robust carbon fiber. It provides a very good grip. It is riveted to the full tang of the blade.The steel is not specified - but it obviously has a very high chrome contend: Very shiny stainless steel. Unlike most knifes in this price-range, it is reasonably sharp right out of the box.The knife has a nice weight to it and feels solid and well balanced in my hand.The sheath is made out of real leather and is well crafted.Overall, this is a very good looking knife, that feels solid enough to do some real work.Very well done for the price!

I’m incredibly impressed with this small fixed blade knife. It’s extremely sharp out of the box and mirror polished with quite thick steel. Cuts great and seems to hold an edge reasonably well. The handle is pretty ergonomic for my medium sized hands. Perfectly suitable for a backup wilderness knife. It has very good fit and finish, all things considered. Even the sheath is thick and sturdy and well made; well fitted and fits on nice and tight. Clean look. Understated branding. Nice presentation box. Very giftable. Overall, I’m so impressed and, at $40, it’s practically a 1/5 of the price of my handmade bushcraft knife. Great value. Honestly was not expecting to like it this much; it’s my new favorite budget knife! 5/5 stars.

I ordered this knife as someone who likes to go hiking alone and wanted extra security. It came with a well made, leather sheath that can be hooked onto a belt or bag. The knife is heavy and clearly high quality. It easily sliced through paper and cardboard when tested. I haven’t tested it on meat yet, but I imagine it will work perfectly. The knife is balanced and I see no issues with its construction. I would absolutely buy from this seller again.

Very sharp right out of the box. I really like the sleek minimalist look. Grip is comfortable and well balanced. The shiny blade is pretty but I wish it was made of something with better edge retention like high carbon or D2 steel. Still a good hunting or camping knife with a nice thick full tang.

My husband got this knife for hunting. It came well packaged in a very nice box for storing. He says the knife is heavy duty and very good quality. It arrived razor sharp without the need for sharpening. It is well made with a nice ergonomic handle making it comfortable to hold. The leather sheath is also very nice.
