A must-read for Narnia fans!
If you grew up reading the Narnia series, you will love this cookbook! I had received Dinah Bucholz's Unofficial Harry Potter cookbook a couple of years ago, and LOVED it, so I couldn't wait to see what she had done with Narnia. This cookbook is divided up into menus instead of individual recipes, so you can plan around a theme. I liked reading about the history behind the recipes as well. I have tried a few of the recipes with delicious results!

Fantastic Cookbook
I loved The Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook and was thrilled to finally have The Unofficial Narnia Cookbook! The recipes do not dissapoint. My family loved the Hearty Mushroom Soup and I cannot wait to try out some more. They are easy to follow and easy to make; I even had my three year old daughter help me out. Aside from the recipes, the book itself is a great read. A must have for any cook or fantasy fiction fan.

and have fun titles from the books
Each recipe correlates to scenes in the book, and is accompanied by a short book excerpt. The recipes are segregated by mealtimes, and have fun titles from the books, such as, "High Tea After Battle." My son and I enjoy reading through the recipes and trying them out. Some are a bit more elaborate, but most can easily be adjusted to what you have.

The Narnia Cookbook
This is really an awesome book for an aspiring chef or a fan of the movie. I bought this book for my grandson for Christmas because he was not only in a school play based on the movie of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" but he loves to cook. The book is filled with fantstic stories and history of some of its menus. A combination of fantasy and history.

Blown Away. NY Times Bestseller AGAIN!
As we are not Narnia fans, we were hesitant to buy this book, but as we LOVED the Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook, we decided to buy this one. This one is AMAZING. Love the recipes, and explanations. It is a great read, regardless if you actually cook or not or even if you actually read the series or have seen the movie. We can't wait for the next book release!
