Silicone Soup Ladle by Chef Frog - For Home or Professional Use - Features our Stay-Cool Stainless Steel Handle

Bought this to replace an old plastic ladle (yuck, right?). Not sure why I waited so long - probably because I wasn't using it so much. But I've been making a lot of soups lately and rather than using the plastic ladle, I've been using a stainless steel ladle but not one designed for soup.This ladle is awesome. I'm sure it would have no problems going in my dishwasher, but I just hand wash it so that I have it ready for my next helping of soup. The handle stays cool although it might get hot if the ladle is left in a pot leaning against the rim of the pot, but I never leave it in the pot so I haven't experienced any issues with that. The handle is rigid yet very comfortable to hold. The green silicone bowl of the ladle is deep enough to serve up a hearty after-surf portion of soup with just a few spoonfuls. It is rigid enough to hold the weight of the big pieces of meat I like to put into my soups.Highly recommend.

This is a great ladle ... not only is it really nice looking, it is perfect for my needs. I've had bigger ladles that I've enjoyed using in the past, but now find that I don't need those big ones anymore, this size is perfect! Has all the functionally of the big ones, but takes up far less space in my utensil jar, cleans up beautifully and is a great color. Easy to find (in my cluster of utensils) and is part of my scaling down process ... getting rid of everything that isn't really necessary. Received it promptly and is just as it's pictured. I would highly recommend this to everyone!!

Crazy how much a good ladle can mean to you. I make a lot of soups, so I decided to ditch the shallow one I've been using and get this one. I really love it. It cleans up great, serves a generous half cup or so with each scoop, doesn't scratch my pans, and I can easily spot it and grab it due to its green color. The seller got it to me super quick. Very satisfied.

This is a follow-up review and actually relates to the set of Chef Frog tongs I purchased, but I can't seem to do a review for just those items, which were part of a larger order. More importantly, I'd like to highlight the great customer service I experienced with this seller.I recently found some cracks in the silicone on the edge of the tongs and wrote to the company, Chef Frog. Within a few hours I had a response, a thank you for the feedback and an apology for the performance, and a set of new tongs in the mail. In addition, they said they would go back to the manufacturer to see what improvements could be made. In short, it was an example of great customer service. I will definitely continue to buy and recommend Chef Frog products because I have confidence that they will stand behind what they sell.6 months of using the Chef Frog products (we bought a complete set of their cooking utensils) and we couldn't be more pleased. Love the balance and light weight, and the fact that the handles stay cool. Highly recommend their products and company.

No complaints about the quality, I just wish they made a version with a larger portion size. I'm not feeding toddlers here, I have better things to do than keep spinning this thing like a majorette just to get fed.

I bought the spoon and ladle and am coming back for the spatula. These are a bargain. Both are very sturdy. The silicone pieces are thick and have a smooth finish. Best of all they remain cool in hot liquids. For example I was making soup and while it boiled I dipped the spoon in, stirred and then tasted. The soup was hot but the spoon remained room temperature. I would highly recommend.

This ladle came apart after several months of use. It was great while it lasted . . . but not so great now that we have to buy something new. Will not buy again.

Product worked as expected. Had a slight issue, but the seller was excellent. I really like the Chef Frog line of products. Will be buying more in the future.
