Meant for soft metals
Tried using the roughest stone on stainless with no effect. I also wish the buffing wheels came bagged so the course grit from the stone wheels didn't cover them

Not perfect but works
I bought this to sharpen lathe chisels. The arbor isn’t perfectly straight but it works just fine. The polishing wheels are a nice addition too. Overall thrilled for $10
