Loving the fact that it is totally wireless!!! It took me a few minutes to learn to use it, I find that you have to have the bag right next to the suction tube for it to work. On my first attempt I had the bag in the middle and it was suctioning non-stop, it could not do enough to auto-seal. It adds to my kitchen decor and many people ask about it. Definitely worth every penny.

Overall it's a nice product. Love the cordless ability to seal anywhere, including outside. Very easy to use, though the manual could be better written... bad translation to English.

This is a good machine if you do not do much vacuum sealing, need just for marinating or would be a good second machine for a couple of items since it is easy to get out by being wireless.But for trips to the Market, this is not the one for me.Good1-Wireless2-Works good on dry items3-Easy to figure out how to useBad1-Takes longer than it should to vacuum-If you push down in the center wear the bag goes in you can hear and see it speed up the vacuum process. So when you close the lid it does not lock down evenly across the length of the lid, just the ends.2-To use the bulk roll of vacuum bags, you have to cut off the length you need then seal one end to create the bag. On this first seal, if you do not press down in the center of the lid as described above, it does not seal evenly and you can push through the seal with no effort. It seems to seal ok once you fill the bag and vacuum it. But again works better if you still press down in the center of the lid.3-Auto does not work to well, it works, just not as expected. So it became more work than it needed to be by having to use the manual button half the time. So I gave up on the auto feature. Which, if you have a couple items here and there your ok. But don't come back from the butcher with more than $150 in meat. I picked up $300, and was not happy to use it.4-Lid locks- do not pull down evenly across the lid to ensure even sealing and ease of vacuum.5-Lid Lock release-It took a minute or 2 to figure out the release. Sometimes it releases when the button is pressed and sometimes not.So you end up pressing the button then grabbing the lid to raise it, and you end up picking up the machine. I finally gave up, now I hit the release button twice to ensure both sides are unlockedPass on this if you expect/planning to use it a lot or purchase bulk meats for the freezer.

Needs to be fully charged to use so plan ahead. Also pretty big and not as powerful as I had hoped but us wireless.

THE GREAT ABOUT THIS FOOD SAVER IS THAT IT IS CORDLESS AND RECHARGABLE. NOW ALL THE BAD: 1. NO AUTOMATIC BAG CUTTER, 2. THE SEALER STRIP IS 1 INCH AWAY FROM THE VACUUM CHAMBER (THAT MEANS YOU LOSE 1 INCH OF MATERIAL PER SEAL, 3. THE CUTTER SUCKS. IT IS LIKE A LETTER OPENER AND DOES NOT CUT THE BAGS STRAIGHT SO THERE IS MORE WASTE.AS A MATTER OF USE: SOMETIMES WHEN YOU USE THE AUTO BUTTON IT DOES NOT STOP VACUUMING AND THE SEAL MECHANISM DOES NOT SEAL. YOU HAVE TO DO A MANUAL AND THEN HIT THE SEAL BUTTON ON YOUR OWN.IF THE ISSUES IN THE ENGINEERING OF THIS ITEM WERE TO BE FIXED (CLOSING THE 1 INCH WASTE GAP, THE CUTTER SHOULD BE PART OF THE SEALER, AND THE PROGRAMMING FOR THE AUTO MODE SHOULD BE FIXED TO WORK EVERYTIME AND NOT FORCE YOU TO GO MANUAL, THEN MANUAL SEAL. ALSO, THE STAND IS GREAT. DID NOT TRY THE WINE SEALER OR CONTAINER SEALER HOSE.YES, I DID RETURN THE ITEM AS IT DID NOT FIT MY REQUIREMENTS FOR USE AND UTILITY.
