High Sierra XBT - Business Laptop Backpack, Mercury/Crimson, One Size

I bought a Tumi, a Swiss Gear and this backpack. I also compared the Ogio in person which we already owned. This is the one I kept. The inside is roomy. The zippers are sturdy. It’s a nice backpack. The Swiss Gear was flimsy and cheaply made comparatively—this backpack seems a whole lot more sturdy. The Ogio was also sturdy and well-made but just felt a little too big for me.

Great quality and lots of zippered pockets. My 17" laptop fits fine. This is a replacement for a similar High Sierra model from 10+ years ago.

I went on Amazon just now because I wanted to buy another of these. Bought my first one in 2016, and it has been everything I wanted. Incredibly strong. Comfortable. Holds a ton. Easy to access everything. I use it for commuting to work (with laptop and gym clothes), but also for travel. The sternum strap is a little low for a woman's chest, but it's still much more comfortable than the other styles I tried. Finally, on a recent trip, when I was carrying about 50 pounds of bottled water, the sternum strap broke. Figured I'd get another one. I highly recommend it!

This backpack is trash. Bought it in January 2025 and the zipper and seam literally came loose at the same time on May 1 2025. I'm not an abuser of this backpack either as I use to to carry my work laptop. The price might be right but the lifespan is not.

Kid used a version of this one for all 4 years of high school and it still looks good. Large middle compartment for books which is what you need. Great build quality. Purchase another one for a rising freshman this year.

The bag I used before this one was High Sierra a lot like this one. Lasted 20 years. This bag came like the pictures depict. I did not send it back. Good news is the flaws have not worsened. Does the job but come on. Quality has gone down. I can't see this bag lasting 20 years. Update: High Sierra customer service was very great. Quick to respond and had a suitable solution

This is the second one I’ve bought! They are durable, practical with all the pockets in the right places, and fun!

Got the backpack today and appears to be a nice product. Very spacious! I am disappointed about the colour of the straps as I was expecting a Crimson leaning towards orange, and it arrived as a deep red. Not as the photo :( There are some loose threads in the stitching. I hope this is not a sign of defect!

The backpack is still with me 8 years after. admittedly, I am not using it everyday, but it is still my go to during my trips. Big fan.

My last High Sierra backpack has lasted me for 6 years and I'm an IT Engineer that carries it around everywhere, everyday with a ridiculous amount of cables and connectors and accessories and equipment weighing in at around 25Kg. My original is still in perfect working order but is looking a little tired and tatty around the edges so I picked out this replacement on Amazon after looking everywhere for one. I even contacted High Sierra and they told me they don't officially supply the UK so I'd have to use somewhere like Amazon to find a reseller and luckily I did.

Excelente tamaño y espacio, la tela está bien pero se ve un poco débil, costuras flojas, estaría mejor más apretadas.

It seems really solid and has huge capacity. I am using it for the university (more than three months now) and have used it for a lot of other things and am very satisfied.
