I had one as a kid and bought another for my Halloween decor. This was such a fun add on. It’s very bright and the perfect size. Just as good as the ones back in the day. 100% recommend.

The colours (that change along the surface, like the main pictures show..) don't change over time but are instead some sort of phosphorous coating.It's a neat idea, but also means the voltage needs to be higher to make up for the extra resistance.. which it seems not the case. Too bad.Basically, it's really hard to get the very top to see my touching finger (and make a bolt ⚡).

Works good. Glass isn't all that clear.I know they put a coating on it, but mine looks dusty inside.

I purchased two of these for my sons a few years ago and they still enjoy it to this day. It’s light weight and the electric waves are bright and fast. Looks so cool and we enjoy it a lot

This was one of the most wished for item on my 11 year olds Christmas list. The second he turned it in you could hear a pop followed by a hissing noise. We knew almost immediately it was a blown fuse inside the plasma ball. But to be sure we tried in multiple other outlets and still nothing. Such a shame he couldn’t even try it once. Don’t waste your time buying this, it’s crap quality.
