This is by far the worst gilding and/or gold leaf I have ever used. I'm in my mid-40's and have being doing leaf since I was in junior high. This requires a very coarse brush to remove the excess & does not want to separate at all, which caused my pinstripes to break out. When I tried to turn it, it won't turn at all to get a polished finish. It just leaves a nasty flat-toned painted look that looks like garbage!! I will NEVER USE THIS GOLD LEAF AGAIN!! It's TRASH. DO NOT BUY THIS LEAF! Now it's time for me to go strip this fender and try something else to get the gold pinstripes I need.....

Great product, after using 1,500 sheets I can say they were consistently flawless

Of course goldleaf is not easy to work with but you don't feel too bad because this imitation and doesn't cost very much.

Just like the ones you buy in the craft stores but just more bang for the buck! They usually come 18-25 sheets in the craft store for about $11 but I get 100 sheets for a cheaper price!

Great way making old pieces new looks

Might need to where your mask because this stuff is so thin if it catches the slightest draft it breaks into pieces. Not sure what your uses are for this but I doubt it’s good for anything besides copper flakes.

My technique needs work but it really looks like it will be beautiful once I get the hang of it

This literally falls apart as soon as you touch it. I don’t understand how this has so many good reviews. I Was going to use it for an art project for the kids and as soon I gently removed a piece from the package it broke into pieces and stuck to my hands. Seriously terrible!

The colors are wonderful and very delicate sheets, exactly like the picture .This is why i ordered from this brand.This is on black and white background. You can see how beautiful they are! (Very reflective and smooth) but it says 100 per color in the description that means total 300 in a bundle however when i counted i only got 60 per color thats 180 in the entire bundle!! I felt cheated.. the packaging is the worst with plastic cover.. no cardboard box to protect it. Luckily mine wasn't damaged. I would request u to please do a proper packaging and compensate me for the extra sheets! I want to give this five stars cause of the product. If u want to buy from this brand remember the quantity of the sheets will be less than mentioned.

I purchased this product for a furniture project. It was a little tricky to use, but honestly that had more to do with my adhesive than this product. I used it with mod podge, but in the future I would use with proper adhesive size. Great price, lots of sheets.

Great quality leaf, no sheets were damaged and if you are careful and slow when separating them they don't rip. The only thing i don't like is the way they arrive in a plastic bag- i wish they at least used cardboard on either side because the sheets get wrinkled in transit.

This was my first try at gold leafing on canvas the pieces are not finished but they are starting to loke great.
