Great for putting a bit of colour in the water...but mainly to stop Algea.

It does what is says on the tin, it turns water in a water feature blue. Depending how mush you put in will dictate how blue the water will be. Looks affetive, I have tried blue dyeand a black dye and I prefer the blue.

its easy to use and colours the water nicely. this was bought 4 some1 else who has said they 'hope' it will keep their water feature free of green slime so only time will tell at the moment.. could do with being cheaper and in more colours than just blue or black. a vivid uv green would be good!

So, got a small water feature and got this to colour it. As far as that goes it’s excellent. However, the bottle it comes in is very badly designed once the seal is broken under the cap. It screws on, and the thing is it will leak! It also takes an age to dry so when I went back to top up the colour the sides of the bottle had blue dye on them where it had leaked from the cap down the bottle side - not because the bottle was knocked over, just residual dye from cap working its way down the side of the bottle. The result is blue hands not only this but drips along the paving as I walked to the pond. Anyway, the colour has lasted well but I’d say ‘over colour’ to begin so the rain (which will dilute it) takes longer to effect the final colour

This made the pond water very clear and a great colour. Using only a few drops it was so easy to use. The bottle is small however will last me a very long time. I've added it to top up every 4-6 weeks and am happy with this.

I have 3 small water features and with only a few drops in each made a big difference to the appearance of the water - fluorescent blue.No harm to wild life, even the birds were drinking the water.
