Great camera for vehicle front or rear view
Bought this as replacemnet for my front camera on my aftermarket radio head unit. My original camera lens fogged up in less than a uear. This one is superior and very clear sharp image, easy to install and allows for reverse image for front view. Been a few months since installed. Works great and very happy with the product and the seller. They were very responsive with answers to questions I had.

Clear view
Installed two of these on a 2009 Honda Odyssey--one as a backup camera and one as a front-facing camera, both connected to a Jensen CAR813 tablet-style head unit (I installed the front cam because the head unit natively supports two cameras, so why not?). The image from both cameras is very clear--much better than the OEM backup cam and the aftermarket front cam on my 2022 Toyota 4Runner. The cameras appear to be durable and well-made. Kit includes both stickytape/adjustable-bracket and license-plate mounts. The included RCA cable was plenty long enough to run all the way to the back of the minivan with plenty to spare. But I had to buy an extension camera cable (also sold by PixelMan--"2.5mm backup camera extension cable") for the front cam because there was no way to run the fatter RCA connector though the Odyssey's ridiculously tight firewall. Anyway, these appear to be worth what they're charging, and my wife is happy (so I'm happy!). Time will tell how well they hold up. The warranty is 3 years--which is probably longer than the minivan will last!

Works great
Solid product and works great. Was fairly easy to install and provides a much better video feed than the stock backup camera on my F150.

Quite impressive for the price!
Great backup camera for a very reasonable price. I only gave 4 stars since the instructions are not too clear for the first time installer. If you watch a few YouTube videos then it will be a super easy install. The camera has a very clear display with backup lines and comes with the items needed for install. Very impressed for the price. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Nice camera. It seems sturdy.
I setup this backup camera on my 2010 F150 and mounted it above the trailer hitch receiver. It has a clear picture and seems to be working as advertised. It's pretty bright in the evening hours and was a good price.

Brought my old car into the modern age
I bought this in combination with a new all-screen head unit to replace my old factory stereo in a 1995 BMW M3 (E36). Routing the very long, provided cable from behind the stereo unit to the back of the car was fairly easy. The wiring instructions were accurate, but not very detailed, so I watched a few Youtube videos on wiring a backup camera to better understand all the connections. Due to my license plate being very tight against the trunk lock assembly, I had to mount the camera off center, but it resulted in a very stealthy installation and still works very well. Due to the offset mounting, I appreciated the option to "cut the white wire" to turn off the built-in parking assist lines and use the lines built into my head unit, which I could adjust for the slightly skewed viewpoint. The image is clear. The fuzziness you see in the photos is mostly due to the low resolution of my screen (only about 600x400 pixels for the camera image). Perfectly adequate for parking or seeing pedestrians. The viewing angle is very wide and I have mounted it so that the bottom of the screen can see the ground about 18 inches from the back of my car. The red line in the pictures corresponds to 3 feet and the green line is about 10 feet away. I have not yet tested the camera in the dark, but one of the reasons I purchased this unit was the low lux rating, so I expect it to work well with just my car's backup lights. I'll update this review once I have some nighttime samples.

Good product
I've had the PixelMan Backup Camera (PMD2A-S) installed on my SUV for about three months now, and overall, it's been a reliable addition to my daily drives. As someone who's not super handy with car mods, the setup was surprisingly straightforward—plug-and-play with my existing reverse light wiring, and the included manual was clear enough to get it done in under an hour. No major headaches there. What stands out is the 170-degree wide-angle view; it really minimizes those blind spots when backing up in tight parking lots or garages. The AHD 1080P resolution delivers sharp, detailed footage even in low light—night vision kicks in seamlessly without that grainy mess you get from cheaper cams. And the metal housing? It's built like a tank. I took my SUV through some muddy off-road trails last weekend, and despite the downpour, it held up perfectly with that IP69 waterproof rating. No fogging or leaks so far. That said, it's not flawless. The image can sometimes lag a split second when reversing quickly, which threw me off once or twice in busier lots. Also, while the night vision is clear, it has a slight purple tint in total darkness that takes a bit of getting used to. Nothing deal-breaking, but if you're picky about color accuracy, keep that in mind. For the price, this is a steal—way better than the flimsy plastic ones I've tried before. If you're upgrading your reverse setup on a budget, I'd recommend it. Just double-check your wiring compatibility upfront.
