The rating I'm giving is only for the item that meets this product as described in its ad. Performance rating requires time plus use per it's purpose. Being it is a clear product, it does require the installer to lay down masking tape to support alignment of the product's clear edge while installing the four 18" long cuts sideXside. Scrub very thoroughly and let dry the intended app tub floor. If any 1/4 dia air bubbles are caught, take a safety pin point to pierce the bubble, and press out the air. Enjoy the new non-slip area w/caution until getting used to standing on surface using soapy shower water. 042925.

A little too smooth to get traction.
Put this in my bathtub, so no one will slip. It’s a little too smooth, doesn’t give you great traction, but its ok… Keep the tape clean, if it gets too much residue from soap or shampoo, you’ll be sliding on your ass for sure.

Great product.
I cleaned my tub with cleanser, rinsed well, then dried with a towel. I wiped it with alcohol and left it dry. I applied the tape the length of the tub about an inch apart.10 months later not one spot has lifted.
