Great Marking Knife
This is a great marking knife. The longer blade and double bevel makes it usable with both hands. I got both the short blade and long blade versions. Short is more controllable and long reaches into tight corners and dovetails. The handles are a bit fat for me but there is enough materiel to sand and shape to what works. Could be marketed as “sand and shape to fit your personal preferences”. Cheers!

Very nice
This works as expected. I especially like the thinner/slimmer profil blade.

Nice tool!
Arrived promptly, we’ll-packaged in sturdy box w/protective paper taped around the blade. Quality looks excellent - nicely finished wood, tight brass ferrule, and flat, sharp, well-finished blade. Test marking cuts were clear and clean. Too early to comment on edge durability, but I’m not worried - will be easily resharpened as necessary.I do agree with other comments recommending one or two small flats on the handle to help keep it from rolling away. I’ll just do it myself, but would have preferred ti came that way.

Sharp!
Really nice marking knife - sharp right out of the box. Changed the precision of my most recent dovetail box.

the right size and easy to use
This has become my marking knife of choice.. It can sharpened very sharp and the point is about right for cutting wood fibers yet not bending to easy. I do wish it came with a guard but a point sheath is easy to make.

It’s ok for what it costs
It arrived with poorly ground bevels; there were chips and flashing, though it didn’t take long to sharpen. I don’t feel very confident in the blade staying fixed in the handle. The main positive is that it really is much thinner and easier to handle than other knives.

Better than using a pencil for accurate cuts.
Very well made marking knife. Easy to use and fits comfortably in the hand. Great for making more accurate cuts than you would using a pencil. Would reccomend for beginner woodworkers as well as expert woodworkers.
