Basher History: US Presidents: Oval Office All-Stars Paperback – January 8, 2013

My son loves all of the Basher books he’s read. I think they are well done and make complex info very accessible to younger readers. My son has been asking for a book about the US Presidents. I was happy to find this one in particular because as advertised it only went up through President Obama. Disappointed to open the package today and see the book sent to me includes the current guy. Meh.

Really in love with Basher books! My kid is easing into “harder” books and became really interested in this crazy 2020 election. Disappointed that the cheese puff was included in the edition we received. Assumed the big blank figure with the question mark would have excluded him but oh well. Still super confused on the illustration...

I lied. I said I bought the book for my elementary-aged children. In truth, I bought it as a primer/reminder for when they ask me questions about past presidents. Even my history-buff-former-AP-American-History-teacher-spouse approved of the book. So, regardless of why you buy it, it is a good purchase. Enjoy.

this book is a great introduction to the u.s. presidents. Each page gives a few facts about the president and describes some of the things he accomplished during his term. My 9 year old son has really taken an interest in the presidents because of this book. History is not his favorite subject so I'm always looking for ways to keep it interesting and fun. This is one of many "basher books" we have gotten. Every one of these books has been thoroughly enjoyed by my sons.

My 8 year-old son loves all the Basher books. This one is no exception. He said he really likes this book because it's easy fun reading.

Given that we already have the Disney Presidents app, the Presidents v. Aliens app, and the TIME for Kids Presidents book, my kid probably knows a little more than the average eight-year-old about U.S. Presidents. But he still found this book engaging enough that he read it twice the day it arrived. He says he especially liked that it included presidential firsts (for example: John Quincy Adams was the first president to be photographed).

This is a cool book, I rented it from the library for my niece and miss placed it so I bought this as a replacement. It is very updated including Obama, and it comes with a poster of all the presidents.

Bought this for my son to add to his collection. A different type of book compared to the rest of the Basher series but he really enjoyed. I thought the drawings of the Presidnets were unusual but really fun. My son liked all the strange facts about the Presidents!

Regardless of whether he was good or bad, or overbearing or modest, each president looks adorable. It was a fun read.
