I was surprised at how easy to use the device is as it only took a few minutes to set up. The fruit came out perfect and honestly once you put it inside you forget about it until it's done. The recipe book is very nice and it has some cool ideas from which you can develop your own recipes too (would have never thought you could make cookies in a dehydrator!). I find this to be perfect to make your own healthy snacks and with the amount of trays you get you can make a huge batch and store it so you don't have to be dehydrating every day. Also, a big plus, it is pleasantly quiet considering it can run for up to 24hrs so you won't even notice it is on. All in all I would say I'm pretty happy with the product and would recommend it if you want to get one. It gets the job done, it's simple to use, quiet, and versatile with the foods you can make.

It is still new to us, we've made jerky so far, It was very easy to use, very easy access to items being dehydrated. Can hold 8 square feet of product, The stainless racks and walls are easy to clean. It is quiet and very little guesswork in operation. It comes with recipes (or google new ones). We are planning a large garden and plan to store tons of dried garden fare in half gallon canning jars NO CANNING INVOLVED. I Recommend this product after very little time of use due to its very sturdy design (much better than the plastic stackable units I have used in the past).

The dehydrator looks good with the stainless-steel exterior. The included 8 stainless steel racks also offers plenty of surface and easy clean up. I am not a fan of the mesh screen and the fruit roll as I am not sure what kind of material they are made of and would much prefer same stainless steel for easy clean up.Setting up the device and using it is easy. Luckily, I read the manual before using the device as itinstructed me to run the machine for at least 30 minutes with good air ventilation to air out any unusual odors (which the machine does produce during the initial air out period). Subsequent use of machine does not produce such odor. Adjust the time and temperature is easy with the up and down buttons. The included recipe is nice as it tells you what temperature and time to use. Though I would prefer much granular temperature adjustment and ideally having a numeric pad instead of up and down arrow for the adjustments. Also, I would love to see some presets offered or allow user to save their own presets.I feel that the fan noise is a tad louder than what I would have liked. It is not noisy but you can definitely hear the it whirling during quiet night. I found that the door latch system is a little flimsy and you got to make sure that it aligned correctly to close it (as oppose to just swing the door and it close shut). Furthermore, I would much prefer a magnetic door so it can open and close effortlessly. I also found that the LCD screen is too bright and would love to have a dimmer option or turn it off.Overall, I like the device for its easy to clean up and simplicity.

This beast does the best fruit chips, dried onions and garlic as well as bay leaves and jerky. Awesome!
