The suction power is great: We have two very furry black cats and light coloured carpets The Sebo didn't leave any fur or dust behind at all with a single pass - no more scraping the fur out on our hands a knees! The flexible head makes it so easy to manoeuvre. The whole unit feels solidly built. Quality! Wish we'd bought one years ago!

Love this vacuum cleaner the suction is amazing and although it is not a lightweight it’s not overly heavy either, which is not a problem for us as we live in a bungalow. Tools are easy to use the only downside is the cleaner will tip over when using the tool hose if you’re not careful.

Move over Dyson, this is a high pile cleaning monster. So I reviewed the Dyson Eye over a year ago and told of its antics and cleaning prowess, but unfortunately like my other dyson hand held and upright they all failed totally on my heavy pile carpet. No manner of promoting, or speal can change that fact. Having spent almost a year, taking two hours a time to vacuum upstairs with the Dysons, it just became too hard and physically back smashing.... Some research and I admit, speculation on my part, I decided to give this Sebo a go, I also said it would probably be going back.... Let’s review this winner, this champ, this heavy pile cleaning monster. So in the box you get a well packaged and pretty retro looking vacuum, the cleaning head, two attachments, hose, instructions and smelly things to put in the bag ( of which there is one, pre installed). Assembly takes thirty seconds and is simple. Fully complete this vacuum weighs less than my dyson and appears to be constructed better, with metal replacing plastic, in areas that I would suggest are vital. I feel that this helps to take the strain of vacuuming and the vacuum. The brush bar looks heavy duty, but more of that later. This vacuum is simple in construction but like I said before has a retro look and feel which actually means that I’m not in a rush to put it in a cupboard, it’s compact, neat and does not weigh too much. ( I love the fabric colour sleeve). The cable is long, all of house cleaning long, which is great, the hose is useful and the tools are stored on the unit, which helps. The on/off switch is an analog type push switch which increases power the further toward maximum that you go and vice versus. The brush bar has four increments for height and a red/green light indicator which tells you if the vacuum is successfully cleaning or not. The vacuum has a suction indicator which turns red if the vacuum is getting stuck during cleaning, there is also a definite audible change. Now onto the important part, the clean. This vacuum glides, literally, but cleans really well, it does not grab, bite or shout at the heavy pile and picked up a quarter bag on its first run, urggh. This is one hell of winner for me and has completely allowed me to vent my frustration with my Dyson, (check my Dyson review concerning this). In summary, am I a fan? Totally! Would I advise purchasing? Yup and am I still fond of Dyson? Yeah, Ive just bought the hair dryer and cooling fan....

This is no doubt a good quality product that does the job well, but it is very heavy.

I have been buying Sebo vacuum cleaners for years. Call me old fashioned, I just don't think battery powered vacuums have the power the Sebo does. I love the swivel head which is flat enough to go under many obstacles. It's a powerful vacuum, versatile enough to do dusting with its extension hose. I give them a hard time as I am a professional cleaner, but they withstand all I throw at them. But they don't last forever so I had to replace my last one which had done innumerable hours beyond the call of duty.
