I bought this RC car for my 8 year-old son and he's absolutely thrilled with it! The car is well-made and looks really cool, with a sleek design and bright LED lights. The remote control is easy to use and the car responds well, making it a lot of fun to drive. My son loves drifting around the living room and doing tricks. The 4WD 4X4 system works great and the car can handle different terrain well. It's a great introduction to RC cars for kids and I'm happy with the quality and value for the price. Highly recommend for boys aged 8 and under who love cars and racing!

These are enjoyable to skid around in the dirt and on small rocks. The drive motor has a good amount of force so these zip around nicely. The battery life is not good...about 10 minutes of constant use per charge. They do provide a spare battery which means with both charged they're good for 20 minutes of play. The control is also somewhat lacking. Both the throttle and the steering are full on or full off...nothing in between. What's more, the steering is slightly sloppy which, combined with the inability to use less than max throttle, makes driving straight a little hard. There is an adjustment under the car which allows you to generally aim the sloppy steering in a straightish direction but it still wanders. If you don't have high expectations, these are cheapish and fun. If you want a good quality rc car...look elsewhere.

Typical chinese crud. Only good for hardwood or pavement. Lack of weight in the back means the rear wheels get lifted up on carpeting. Use on lawn or snow in impossible.

My 8 yo had me order this for him with his birthday money and he loves it. He drives it all over the house and outside on the sidewalk.So far it has held up for months which was surprising. Easy to use and an overall great car for the price.

It’s small and runs on a small battery but it’s fast and has a long drive time.The car does have trim so if it goes to the left or right over time you can fix it.This is great car to get two of them. I really wanted to like this RC car as it looks really cool, and it was the perfect size for messing around with in the living room. When it arrived, I opened it up and was a bit disappointed that every part of the car was plastic except for the screws and pins that hold it together. But I overlooked this and chalked it up to cost cutting. But one of the glaring issues was the fact that the battery housing was a bit tight and the only way to get the battery to fit was to place it at an angle and force the latch closed.Once I charged the battery and inserted it into the car, I was ready to test it out. This little RC can go really fast and if you use it on hardwood flooring, you will be really disappointed as it has a really hard time with grip. The car will do donuts or not go straight because it peels out constantly. Also, don't expect to go over grass as it does not have the clearance for grass that's a little less than half an inch tall. Also, the controller is not great as it really doesn't allow for subtle control, as it's a clickity type of control. You click it to go in any direction and it will turn very abruptly causing you to over correct the movement.On my second day of using it, I did manage to adjust to the poor controls and had a good time with it until it just stopped working. I charged the batteries, but the RC was done. I tested the batteries, and they did register as having a charge but unfortunately the RC was just not functioning. I contacted the buyer, and they offered a replacement, but I opted to receive a refund as the RC car is not what I expected, and I expect that a replacement would only have the same outcome. Kudos for the seller in trying to replace the RC and giving a refund.Overall, I was really disappointed with the quality and how short of a life span it had. Hard pass on this RC as I really had high hopes that it would work but it just falls flat.
