My husband and I are both retired paramedics (and he is a retired firefighter as well). Into our 60's now, and my husband approaching 70, we both feel the aches and pains of our aging bodies. Old on-duty injuries as well as stuff we did growing up (gymnastics and ballet fro me, dirt bike riding and handball for him) have left their mark. When I was a nurse on a trauma floor in the 70's and 80's we had a large TENS machine to help our patients with their health issues. I bought a TENS unit online from Amazon about the size of a cell phone and he love's it. I chose the unit and electrodes when we needed to reorder them and he LOVES them, so much so that one of our friends, also a retired FF and medic, ordered the same TENS unit and electrodes we recommended. He is ridiculously picky but has been very pleased with these electrodes.

These work fine. I am rating 3 stars because coating on side for body contact isn't very thick. My previous brand of pads lasted several months of 3 times a week average use. I don't think I'll get that use with these. The price and number of pads in box compensates for this.

I tried the electrode pads with two different tens unit devices. On both they only worked the first time, and then never again. I have to open a new package every time to get it to work, and if the unit turns off you can't get it to work again. I was super disappointed, because in the past I've been able to reuse the pads over and over with no problem. I even threw out the old tens unit and brought a new one because I thought that was the problem, but it turns out it was the pads.

Work just as described and MUCH more sticky staying in place just as I need them to vs the ones that came with my Hidow unit. YES, the large size "snap" work with the Hidow units!

I bought these electrodes for my Compex Edge. The snap on of the electrodes are very loose for compex cables and they tend to fall off. Do NOT buy these electrodes for compex snap on wiring as they do not stay on.

The first pair worked fine but the next pair wouldn't work unless I held them down. Tried 3 other pairs and they were all the same. Switched to a different brand and it worked fine so it must be the pads.
