they worked OK for a year, but than the bearings fell out of one of the swivel joints. Now since that caster don't rotate when chair moves the chair gets stuck and starts to pull the carpet. Wheel still works, its the caster swivel joint that allows the whole wheel assembly to swing around as chair changes directions that is broke. Might because because its help together with rivet that can stretch. Not sure I would buy again . Maybe if this is a "one off" failure and they send me a single replacement I might reconsider.

I bought these as a colleague recommended this style wheels for a carpeted area, as I hate those plastic mats a lot of folks use. When all the wheels are lined up, these make my office chair glide like a dream - however - After you scoot in close to your desk, all the wheels are more or less opposite the directions they want to be in order for you to scoot back away from your desk, as they all start to turn then get stuck. It's very jarring when it happens and it feels like your chair is glued to the floor. I've been wrestling with it all morning, and I'm almost to the point where I would put those dinky caster wheels the chair came with back on. (On hardwood floors, these are awesome.)

My biggest piece of advise with these is to hold on to your seat when you sit down! These wheels are literally perfection. Easy to install, no tools needed, if you're on a hard surface you will feel like you're rolling around on a cloud. They are so smooth and are also very quiet. I also love that they do not leave marks on my floors. The reason I say to hold on to your seat when you sit down is because they are so smooth, the smallest bit of movement will send you gliding across the room - which can also be fun if you are a kid at heart.

I was 380 pounds when I first got these now i'm down to 300 and the wheels have held me well these have outlasted 3 chairs so far lol i will say this that after almost 2 years they're starting to get flat spots but i also sit at my desk 15 hours or more a day 7 days a week so they're fantastic for the price.

These work perfect. Just installed new hardwood floors and needed some none scratch wheels to replace the plastic ones on my office chair. These fit perfect and the rollerblade style wheel is awesome. No scratches and rolls so much better.

These wheels are the PERFECT replacement wheels for my desk chair. They roll VERY well & freely (hang on to the arms of your chair before you sit down so it won't get away from you--at least while you are getting used to it). Very sturdy and easy to install. Highly recommended!

Extremely easy to install, less than five (5) minutes; the roller/glide is very smooth just like in-line skates; sometime while pivoting the rollers will need a little effort to reposition; this is not a deal breaker; stop thinking about and just do it; it is well worth it; no longer need a floor mat which was difficult to clean around. replacement caster adds a new dimension to your chair

I love these wheels. they are heavy duty enough to keep my fat butt from wearing them out fast like the set I bought from another brand. they roll really nice on the worn out high pile carpet in my tiny cheap studio apartment. if you're anywhere near 300lbs and need good wheels on your computer chair...buy a set.
