A Seamstress's Dream: Time-Slashing Serger Delight
Embarking on the journey of purchasing a serger initially filled me with apprehension, fearing the complexities of threading. However, a swift tutorial on YouTube quickly dissolved my concerns, revealing a straightforward process. Regret now fills me for not acquiring this gem earlier. Seamlessly conquering extensive sewing projects, this powerhouse diminishes 95% of my usual sewing duration, liberating me to revel in the creative aspects rather than wrestling with unruly raw edges. The robust, all-metal construction of this serger solidifies its status as a formidable beast in the realm of sewing tools—a true game-changer!On the flip side, my experience with customer support left much to be desired. The sole avenue for communication being email felt restrictive, lacking the immediacy of a hotline for swift assistance. Moreover, the manual's contradictory instructions on oiling the machine pose a slight puzzle, oscillating between pre-oiled claims and vague 24-hour intervals for additional oiling. Clarification in this regard would mitigate the risks of under or over-oiling incidents. Nevertheless, the transformative impact of this serger eclipses these minor drawbacks. It stands as an indispensable asset in elevating my sewing endeavors, making it a top recommendation for those seeking to enhance their crafting projects.

Very generous!
I was very surprised to see that the machine was already threaded and had a piece of scrap fabric held under the foot! This shows that the machine was tested before shipping, and I appreciate that. Under the machine, it's legs have little suction cups that aren't very strong and make it perfect for preventing the machine from shaking too much and being noisy during use; while still being able to very easily move the machine and not ruin any surfaces. I love that feature on this machine. It runs very well and the price is so generously affordable for a great, compact machine. It also comes with all the tools you need like an extra foot screw, a screwdriver, the machine's key, an extra metal plate, extra blades, a cleaning brush, extra organ needles, etc!! I'm amazed by the machine and this brand. Definitely very happy with it and I strongly recommend this machine.

It’s like having an industrial serger machine at your home. Worth the money
This machine is amazing! It is heavy and will be able to get a job done in a high quality type of way. I decided to go with this much cheaper machine and I can say I’m not regretful at all! I found this Lumina overlock really sturdy with its heavy metal frame and with a really powerful motor. If you have been serging for many years like me, you can realize that it has more power than any other household serger machines. To be honest I did not find any complications in its usage. If you need to flip the knife up or to change the stitch length It may be tricky the first time but you can check the manual, it's all well explained and very helpful! Thanks to the color coded guide it's pretty easy to learn how to thread though it will be delicate at first if you are brand new to machines, but you can check the manual that is inside the box, it helps me a lot. Once you do it a few times, it becomes easier. It’s a very easy to use serger and it comes with a needle plate for rolled hem. This is one of the best serger sewing machines models I have had. I would definitely recommend it for tough works like woven. I look forward to many happy years of use!!

Garbage
Only had it a day, but seems great, went through three layers of flannel just fine. Seen people say its hard to thread but it threads almost the same as my brother, if you have used a serger before you'll be fine. Update 1 day 5 of owning This this is insane compared to my brother, it went through 4 thick layers of fleece no problem just slowed down at the bulky seams. Made a super heavy coat. So far totally in love. Update 2 one year of owning. A needle broke and threw the timing off so now its unusable. Same thing that happened to my brother serger. I know how to fuss with it but it takes a really long time. Update 3. Fixed it and once again the love of my life. Will buy a second one as a backup Update 4. 1.5/2 years of owning absolute garbage. Doesnt matter what I do it will no longer make a chain. You can NOT get ahold of the company no matter what. Do not recommend, waste of money Did this mid project (mid stitch) no dials were messed with etc. I have tried everything to fix it

Life-Changing Serger for Effortless Sewing Projects
Hey there! So, I was super scared to buy a serger at first because I was convinced I wouldn't figure out how to thread it. But guess what? After watching a quick YouTube tutorial, it was a piece of cake! I seriously regret not getting this gem sooner.Let me tell you, tackling big sewing projects has never been easier. This bad boy slashes 95% of my sewing time, allowing me to focus on the fun parts instead of struggling with zigzagging raw edges. If you've been eyeing a serger, don't think twice—this one's a beast with its all-metal, rugged build. I'm telling you, it's a game-changer!Now, here's the not-so-great part. I tried reaching out to the company for some help, but the only way to contact them is through email. Bummer, right? No customer support hotline to call for a quick chat. And the manual is a bit confusing—it claims the machine is pre-oiled at the factory, but then suggests oiling it every 24 hours of use without specifying how much. Hopefully, they'll fix this hiccup soon to prevent any mishaps with over-oiling or under-oiling.Overall, though, I can't get enough of this serger. It's a total game-changer for my sewing ventures, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to take their projects to the next level!

Not as difficult to thread as I thought
I was afraid to buy a serger because I didn't think I could thread it but after watching a YouTube video, piece of cake. I wish I would have bought this sooner. I've taken on a major project and this will cut 95% of my time so I can concentrate on putting it together rather than trying to zigzag on my raw edges. Don't hesitate if you have been looking for a serger. This one is all metal and it's rugged. Highly recommend it. The only other drawback that I can think of is I tried to contact the company and you can only contact them by email but they never replied. There's no phone number that they answer to talk to anyone for support. That I did not like. The other thing is that it says the machine does not need to be oils because it's been oiled from the factory but then it says in the book to oil it every 24 hours of use. It does not indicate how much oil it needs. Hopefully they will correct this issue so no one damages their machine with excess oil or not enough.

Good pricing , very tough it’s worth it.
This serger is very beautiful and tough. I do recommend it. I have to returned it because I have arthritis I didn’t know I couldn’t put the tread. My fingers did not help. I seek for help but was hard on me. I’m 72 so, I wish I had it long time ago . I love this item, buy it .👍🏼
