Bought these for my husband and he loves them. Unfortunately, over the years we have broken a few of these as they were glass. We would love to buy them again when they become available again. Cannot find anything to compare to the originals. ☹️Hope they become available again soon!

These glasses are nearly identical in shape, heft, and feel to the famed Glencairn whisky glass at a fraction of the cost. The theory behind the shape is that volatile chemicals responsible for the flavor and aroma of a distilled and aged spirit are concentrated in the lower portion of the glass so that you can get the full experience as you nose and taste. The effect works best when you pour a single shot, not when you fill them half way or more. The curve of the glass allows easy swirling and the nubby base allows you to use the palm of your hand to warm the whisky (or brandy, aged rum, añejo tequila, etc...)The glass is relative small and a bit on the delicate side and the top is intentionally narrow, so if you like ice with your whiskey or need sturdy glasses for a party setting, stick with your typical highball/rocks glass.

These glasses were exactly what I needed for my bourbon tasting evening! They are a great inexpensive substitute for the Glencairn glasses and are the perfect shape needed for a good whiskey tasting experience. They are a bit more substantial than the crystal glasses, but I consider that a positive in this case. I ordered 9 sets for my tasting event and all the guests were impressed with the glasses. Unfortunately, two of the thirty-six glasses came damaged, but the company replaced them quickly and without hesitation. I highly recommend these glasses and the company!

only negative is they are plastic, not glass. The fault is mine since I didn't read more about the product before ordering. Considering the price I have no real complaint.

Great quality. No tasting should go on without a set of these.

I had to return these as they had very rough or irregular edges and flaws. They were nice size and weight otherwise would have been nice. Not sure if this is a quality control issue on these or if there is no quality control.
