It would eventually, but hydrochloric acid also reacts with the calcium in the bone and would damage the skull, so if you are trying to preserve the skull I would not recommend using any acids.

Q: will this kill bathroom mold ?

Yes it will. You will have different results based on your concentration. I mix mine 50/50.
