Tiny garden
It’s the beginning of winter so I’m going to wait a bit to start growing so hopefully I can have some time with it in my kitchen then drop it in my garden.

Not all plants are edible!
The first attempt at growing these was not successful. After talking to a few people we tried again with germinating the seeds in damp paper towels instead of soaking them in water which worked much better. HOWEVER, I just found out the sage I grew is a flowering sage, not the typical herb you use in food. My child loves to eat from our herb garden and thankfully has not gotten sick from it but now I know you’re not supposed to eat that one. Also the basil is not the standard basil. It’s still edible, but has a stronger licorice flavor and is not the variety you use in pesto. We can still eat it with other things but it would be nice if the seeds were labeled a little more specifically than just the generic plant name.

It's ok.
Thyme was definitely not thyme but anise.Chives and rosemary both never germinated. Lavender and Chamomile are maybe a 10% germination success rate. Every thing else germinated great and are growing well.

Inconsistent Results
I'm not much of a gardener, so expectations weren't too high. I had great success with the cilantro, and am experiencing middling success with the lavender and parsley, which only sprouted on a second round. My kit didn't include dill, so there was one seed packet missing entirely. The thyme, chives, chamomile, and rosemary all didn't sprout even though I tried twice; the seeds went moldy in the soil. I still have a few seeds, so maybe another round, but it's a messy and time-consuming process, and if the soil dries out entirely, it does return to its blocky state, and needs to be reactivated.

Nice little set
The company provided a lot of seeds and the the containers were sufficient. There could have been more soil discs and I was disappointed that two of the herbs did not grow. I tried over and over, following the instructions, but the lavender and chives did not sprout.

Poor Yield
Most of the seeds (except cilantro) never sprouted :(I planted all of them, and only got a single sprout each on dill, parsley, basilCilantro thrivedAll others seem like old seeds that never sprouted

Fun kid project but some seeds are mislabeled
I did have to add a bit more soil to fill the planters all the way up but luckily I had some on hand. This is my first time planting herbs and I have the 6 soaking in water as directed. Maybe I’m just a newbie but the sage and basil seeds both look like my chia seeds when I soak them. 🧐 🤔**UPDATE** They definitely sprouted as chia seeds instead of sage within 5 days so JUST KNOW THE SEEDS ARE MISLABELED**

Hopeful but not much luck
Only thing that has really taken off was the cilantro. Chives won’t even sprout. I’ve got rosemary and chamomile sprouting but they are dying off despite following directions on sunlight/watering. Pretty disappointing. I’d save your money and buy seeds elsewhere. The containers are cute though. Definitely not given enough soil pods for all of the containers.
