I love the bridge and I bought it to replace one I had that rotted. However, within a very short period of time I noticed that some of the boards were loose. Upon checking, I found that the screws had broken. If you are having this sitting somewhere and never walked on, maybe not a problem, but I ended up having to take up the bridge and replace every single screw with new longer screws that were about 1/2 inch longer and stainless steel. Of course, in a very short period of time with lots of rain, boards shrink and the holes no longer line up so we ended up having to replace every screw on the walk way and drill new holes for some. My recommendation is that if you are going to actually walk on this, buy new screws before you put it together so that you do not end up having to redo the walkway. I put it together by myself so that is possible. Thanks

It is sturdier than I expected. I'm 245lbs. No parts and hardware were missing. The finish is spotty but not grossly undesirable. But you must take care. The instructions aren't very good and details are important. For example, the under supports are not all the same if you pay close attention to small details on the drawing. And be sure to follow the caution about only tightening the bolts to finger tension until completed. Otherwise the pre-drilled holes will never line up. It helps to visualize the assembly steps before you begin.

This garden bridge is small, but it was all I needed for the walkway that crosses a ditch. I added fairy lights and miniature hanging baskets and love how it turned out. It feels sturdy when I walk across it and seems to holding up well. High quality for the price!

We have had it a week and the walking planks are coming off. The screws that hold the walking planks into the bridge are not long enough and after only several uses the planks are coming off. We have to go out an buy longer screws.
